Ferguson, Missouri (KMOV.com) – What started as a peaceful prayer vigil Saturday evening to remember a young man gunned down by police, has escalated into full scale riots and looting in Ferguson, Missouri.
Angry mobs have smashed windows, set fires and looted businesses as a massive showing of police, some wearing riot gear have moved into the area along West Florissant just south of 270.
Police are also responding to reports of shootings throughout the area. At one point, windows of a News 4 live truck were smashed out by the angry crowd.

Ferguson Police Chief confirms that someone fired shots at him and St. Louis County PD Chief last night in Walmart parking lot.
No, and neither were you. But people who were all seem to agree that he was unarmed.

Look the terrified congressthings are not WRONG that nationwide riots and looting, and even racial killings, are going to happen when they finally confront the issues that are destroying the country.
What they're wrong about is that they can keep the peace indefinitely, even by running $1 trillion deficits as far as the eye can see. The fact that their time horizons now only extend to the day they can get out of town is the whole problem, in a nutshell.
Amazing how some want to jump to conclusion or trust this liberal media, and not even think about waiting for the truth to come out.
And an “unarmed” perp can still be a threat...if, as is indicated in other reports, the perp made a go for the officer’s weapon...Darwin has entered the bldg.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes...but seeing as how this whole thing has been allowed/encouraged to turn into a race issue, police abuse, etc., no real justice will be served here.
The officer involved may escape this with his life. But all indications point to an attempt to appease and mollify that faction of society completely unable or unwilling to accept the cold hard truth that their “gentle giant” was nothing more than a thug who got what he earned.
