The execution was not botched.

The point of the story is that the family of the victim did not show remorse? Why should the family of the victim show remorse?

Were it my family member who was the victim, I think I’d have asked if we could send out for some beer, pizza and chicken wings.

I think I’d have been laughing and giggling throughout each moan.

When I clicked on the link, there were 666 comments on the article. I thought that to be bizarre.

And what do the victims have to be remorseful over, really? Looks like Rheana Murray is the one who ought to be remorseful over denigrating the suffering of this family.

Well done, Executioner! Use succinylcholine next time. It’s faster but the victim is full aware as the demons harvest him.

“The family of two people ... showed no remorse”
Reporters are not very brilliant, and are incapable of thinking an original thought, but they ARE good with language, and choose words deliberately. This is what he meant to say, because in the mind of a liberal, the criminal is to be pitied, and the victim is just out of luck.

The warden should have given pistols to the victim’s family members and allowed them to finish the job.

He should have been shot. The execution should fit the crime.

HOWEVER, I do not support the death penalty. It gives the state too much power. Look at how they are abusing Homeland Seurity, the TSA, IRS, etc.

If found giulty, throw them in a real prison for life. If later you find out you have the wrong guy - which happens all too often - it can be corrected.

Check out all those links on this forum on police abuse. Prosecutorial abuse by an ambitious prosecutor/politician wannbe is a lot harder to prove. They are more sophisticated than cops.

Here is something for attorney Dale Baich and the 'team', or should I say 'cadre' at GMA regarding their concern over the victims' families demonstrating no sympathy for the executed:

I talk to liberals regularly. They sincerely expect love and tolerance from other people, even after their actions, or their votes, have caused those other people irreparable harm, death, and destruction.

They are likewise sincerely shocked when told that they will eventually have to pay up with their own worthless carcasses.

If Democrats are not aware of the death and destruction they have caused, they are too stupid to be considered fully human.

If they are aware of the death and destruction they have caused, and they continue, then they are irredeemably evil; too evil to be considered human at all.

Should anyone show sympathy for the fifth-column America-hating leftist ABC reporters after trading their souls in a Faustian bargain?

I just finished reading Champion Buffalo Hunter - the memoirs of Vic Smith in the wild west - he recounts how two teenagers raped and killed a woman and when they went to hang the boys they did such a sloppy job of tying their wrists that the brothers monkey-like climbed the hanging ropes into the tree. There were several well trained sharpshooters on hand, who eventually began to fire on them but from the ground it took at least several attempts before both were killed - and all the while the two verbally attacked the crowd below them. In their case their own mother turned them over to the mob for the execution. The old days!

If I were in charge of executing that guy, it would’ve been the dry-sponge electrocution in The Green Mile.

The only legitimate interpretation of the constitution is original intent. During the founders time hanging was the death penalty norm. Maybe we should return to that method.

BTW I was a watching a movie about a guy named starkweather who went on a killing spree in 1958. The time from his arrest to his execution was just 17 months.

The judge is right: the firing squad is the best way to go.

Rifles and bullets are cheap and ubiquitous. Any LEO can pull the triggers. Appeals about the means of execution are minimal, if any. Death within a half second is almost assured.

Using the firing squad should eliminate between 5-10 years of the appeals process, so justice is more timely.
