Posse Comitatus shouldn't apply because the National Guard wouldn't be deployed to provide internal policing, but rather to repel foreign invaders, which is precisely why the military exists.

So much for stopping drug cartels from crossing the border. Will the TX Natl Guard be stopping ALL illegal aliens who attempt to cross the border, OR just the suspected drug cartel illegal aliens? The borders must be closed to ALL incoming illegal aliens, and illegals aliens must be turned BACK at the border, to return to their home lands. Is this what the Texas Natl Guard will be responsible for doing?

I think the Nat'l is under the "leadership" of cartel arming (fast and furious) Obama.

It seems this whole fiasco is so that the BP will be busy with the raped teenaged girls and children with multiple diseases that his people, the cartels and Jarrett's Muslim Brotherhood Islamic terrorists, can come over the border easier.

He may have wanted to get back up around texas BEFORE he sent them out..not a lot of bitching later from his people in Texas.

Also, he wanted to appear to “try” to be reasonable with the amdinistration at first, so that he was “left with no other recourse.” He gets a lot more support and has the wind at his back. If something goes wrong ( and it could) at least he can say “ I HAD to do this, I got no help.”

I’m sure glad not to have held my breath. Listened to Dan Patrick’s spew on 700 this afternoon. Pure pablum. That guy talks down more and more and more.
