Radio host Glenn Beck continued to defend his initiative to send food, soccer balls and teddy bears to illegal immigrants on the southern border, which he said had raised $1.8 million on Mondays broadcast of Fox News Channels The OReilly Factor.

How about let’s be reasonable and repatriate every single one of them back to their country of origin?
That would be the moral and just thing to do. None of these criminal invaders deserve to be here or live off of our tax dollars.
You got it!
Beck, another fool in the cesspool......
Soccer balls? Let’s try some midnight soccer to keep them busy and out of trouble. </s
Zuhri became the focus of criticism when a clip of him advocating for civilians to act as human shields in order to protect Hamas militants and assets exploded on the internet.
That is no different than what the Liberals are doing with the illegal children.
Yet, there are Freepers, and now Dionne, joining with Beck trying to encourage more to become human shields, just as Zuhri is.
Beck fancies himself as a Mormon Ghandi...
Yes, Mr. Beck; take care of theeir air/bus/train fair sending them back home. It will be cheaper 1st class than keeping them here!
More like a Moron Ghandi.
Grandstanding idiot
Creating straw man that they are being neglected here
Sheesh people. Glenn has no power over you. He cannot just TAKE your money....if you don’t want to participate in his cause, DON’T PARTICIPATE. It’s quite different than when Pelosi or any democrat says they want to “help the children”, because they CAN take your money without your permission and FORCE you to participate. Good Lord. Have we lost all rational thought? My argument is with the churches colluding with the state “caring” for these children. They are sanctioning theft (Thou shall not steal), by our government, through taxation. Then they all get to sit back and look as though THEY are the compassionate ones, the benevolent ones. The churches that want to “help” these children need to ASK for donations from their parishoners and communities, not crawl into bed the state.
Dear Glenn...get back on your meds.
here’s the answer... one that is charitable AND just
1) Stop the chaos = Triple border fence... 6.6 billion dollars. NO MORE OPEN BORDERS.
2) address the chaos inside our borders = round up the illegals and send them back
3) address long term problem = reform the immigration laws to allow legal immigration to take place ... if our economy is strong enough.
I agree. Let’s round them up and give them a free ride home on an airplane that has movies in Spanish and serves tacos. Is that nice enough? It better be because that’s all the burglars should get.
He is so often on and off the reservation that he needs a clapboard sign to that effect.
I agree with your 1 2 3 points and as I understand, Glenn does too. Y’all need to stop sounding like progressives with the personal attacks. Your anger should be aimed at those people who advance lawlessness.
Progressives, huh? For calling Beck out as the hyper-emotional, self-righteous moron he is? Nice smear job.
He deserves all the anger aimed his way. Those invaders are calling their families, telling them they're being treated great and to come on up and join them. Beck with his Christmas morning on wheels is contributing to that, thereby "advancing lawlessness."
"Taking care of the kids" would be giving them water and a hot meal and then putting them on planes headed back to their parents. Time for you to wake up.
It wont be the Gang members, but the little children who are being preyed upon, whose parents, grandparents, or other guardians are naive enough to think their children will be safe on the journey to the USA.
Let alone how many terrorists are coming through with the huge border lapse caused by the Obama admin.
There's a reason the admin wont let the press see these "children". There are a lot of adults mixed in pretending to be children.
Best thing we could do is pay for their return to whatever Central American country they came from. $40 million dollars to feed; transport via first class air; and $100 each to buy them their own soccer ball, teddy bear, and food for a month once they arrive. That’s a lot cheaper than $3,700 million dollars to Band-Aid (cover-up) the crisis. That’s what Obama wants and Beck played into. Probably not what he believes or wanted to do, but certainly a misstep on his part. (he does it too often)
I was a huge Beck fan years ago, but for many reasons, I don’t see him as helpful to the conservative cause any longer. My reasons are not important because many others may disagree with me. I suppose Tradcon is right about the name calling... I fall into that occasionally and should know better. But retracting the “get back on the meds” statement, I stand by my calling Glenn out for this. It’s not helping. BTW, Tradcon, I did give to Beck’s charitable cause because I love children. Maybe foolish, but it is well intended on my part. Beck is still wrong on this, IMHO.
Beck does have power over his followers, why should conservatives hesitate to take on his destructive progressive views when he starts promoting them?
We disagree with his efforts to subsidize Obama’s agenda.
Here’s the thing, though. This country’s own veterans can’t get the medical care they need...a vet here on FR recently said the VA told him he’ll have to wait two years.
I’m a lot more concerned about them than the children of invaders. Sorry, but that’s the way it is.
Those kids don’t need first class airfare. They just don’t. The more treats you give, the more they will want to come here. And $100 for toys and food for a month? You can’t be serious! Do you really think that money will go toward buying playthings and food once they get back home? The parents who gave them up will have no problems taking it and using it for their own aims.
Look, I love kids, too, but we have got to get a grip on ourselves, and stop allowing our emotions to lead us. My God, we can’t parent the entire world. There are kids right here in this country who need charity.
