The politicians “need them and want them.” That’s essentially ALL of the politicians. The great divide in America is between the Ruling Class and its paid for welfare masses on the one side and the dwindling rest of us on the other.
Please hear me out and try to understand where I’m coming from. Glenn does not have power over anyone. He is not forcing anyone to participate. It’s your choice. Do or don’t. Personally, I would only call him a “progressive” IF he colludes with big government and he’s not. His cause is totally voluntary. I wholeheartedly agree with you guys (and gals) that this influx has to stop. They need to go back. But we still need to show that we are decent human beings, NOT like our government, who treats them as pawns. Again, they need to go back and our border needs to be secured.
I think we mostly agree. I must not be doing a very good job of making my point, perhaps it’s more nuanced for me.

Smear job? Here’s the truth of my comment. I described what I was reading, as in “sounding like”. If you disagree with Glenn’s cause, then so be it. Your words: “hyper-emotional, self-righteous moron he is?” That reads to me as a smear and a personal attack. I would hope that Freepers are above that.

Yes, I agree, it has to stop, it’s evil what is happening and endangering too many people on both sides of the border. They have to go back. We agree. But I cannot see how giving a young child (not a 17 year old nor an adult) a ball/teddy bear, equals amnesty or helps O’s agenda.

Beck repeatedly comes out against conservatism and this time he is doing it and calling for his followers to subsidize the Obama scheme and these illegals plans.
As a man who renounced Christianity and whose goal is to become a God himself, Beck isn’t the man to look for for guidance on right and wrong.

His recent tangents have included dramatic announcements that he would "stand with" GLAAD, one of the most vile sodomite organizations in existence; baseless attacks on Ted Bundy and the events at the Bundy ranch; and now this. Oh, and let's not forget that he said the invaders at the southern border should be allowed to come in despite their contagious diseases.

It isn't a toy or two, though, is it? It's truckloads full. He is part of the reason those people are calling home, crowing about the wonderful treatment, encouraging their families to join them.
