Children of same-sex parents enjoy better levels of health and wellbeing than their peers from traditional family units, new Australian research suggests.
In what they described as the largest study of its type in the world, University of Melbourne researchers surveyed 315 same-sex parents and 500 children about their physical health and social wellbeing.
Lead researcher Doctor Simon Crouch said children raised by same-sex partners scored an average of 6 per cent higher than the general population on measures of general health and family cohesion.
"That's really a measure that looks at how well families get along, and it seems that same-sex-parent families and the children in them are getting along well, and this has positive impacts on child health," Dr Crouch said.
There were more than 33,000 families with same-sex parents living in Australia, according to the most recent Australian Bureau of Statistics census.

Such studies have been done. Children raised by sex perverts have much higher incidence of drug/alcohol abuse, homosexuality, difficulty with relationships, failure in school, behavior and other things. They’re much more miserable, ill behaved, maladjusted in every way.
It’s nothing but horrible cruelty and child abuse to allow homosexuals access to children. This used to be common cultural knowledge.
In France a few months ago when there were massive demonstrations all over the country against fag marriage, even fags demonstrated against fag marriage.
The reason? “Children need a mother and a father”.
In France even some of the fags are more sensible than social lefitsts in the US.
Less than 2% of the population runs things here. Sickening to the max.
Wow. And the all-male U.S. Military used to be a place where young men who lacked male role models could learn to function fast in a world of their male peers. Think the tough-loving Marine drill sergeant who turns boys into men. The absence of females is what makes this possible. For real, in this way many thousands of troubled boys have been converted into honorable men via the branches of the U.S. military.
Ending "don't ask don't tell," promoting "homosexual equality" in the military, is overt sabotage of one of America's most valuable assets: a male-dominated military. First women -- now homosexuals.
I'm a woman who is infuriated by women who presume to place themselves and claim roles among male warriors. I respect men. I am even more infuriated that a disciplined fighting force of warriors is expected to function while observing full embrace and acceptance of homosexuality at all level of ranks. OVERT SABOTAGE.
Liberals have to use judges to enforce this (and use manipulated vote ginning to elect politicians who appoint these judges) because the majority of America and Americans object. It is only the MSM that presents the impression of an adoring leftist public.
Most Americans are, to varying degrees, on the same page we are when it comes to homosexual relationships being equal. Most Americans understand that government has zero place in mandating, beyond common laws against theft, violence, and murder, how we choose to deal with homosexuals among us.
Obviously, I wish you were right. But I see too much evidence to the contrary. I just posted an article about a couple of gay men who have “made” a child for themselves through surrogacy. The photos are truly weird. But I first encountered them on a Facebook post with hundreds of comments about how “beautiful” and “wonderful” this so-called “family” is—most of the comments from WOMEN. It’s just sad.
Next week we’ll learn this was a hoax.

Again, ask yourself: if "everybody but us" buys into the "homosexuals are equal to heterosexuals" game, why does the left need judges to force people to comply?
Especially when it's plain that the politicians who appointed those leftist judges likely gained office not because people didn't reject them and their leftism, but because enough votes were ginned (manipulated, harvested, outright fraud, etc.) to steal those powerful office for the sake of wielding government force?
The evidence, the proof that I am right that leftists are a minority, is in the need for the left to cheat and resort to tyranny. If not for fraudulent votes, most of the most dangerous leftists in American government would not be in office.
As Mississippi proved, both the Republican and Democrat parties include leftists so authoritarian that they will cheat to gain power.

If you look at children in “same sex families” that managed to stay together long enough for a longitudinal study to be valid, we probably should recognize that represents the “least bad” of “same sex families.”
Such a situation might turn out to show a slight statistical advantage for the child compared to a completely random fate. It says nothing about how wise or foolish, even by secular standards, it is to place a child with any old “same sex family.”
Next weeks featured study will be a boy and his pet sheep. Should parents discourage sexual experimenting between a child and their pet? New studies find boys who date sheep early in life are much happier and so are their gay partners later in their mid to late teens. /extreme sarcasm
