Children of same-sex parents enjoy better levels of health and wellbeing than their peers from traditional family units, new Australian research suggests.
In what they described as the largest study of its type in the world, University of Melbourne researchers surveyed 315 same-sex parents and 500 children about their physical health and social wellbeing.
Lead researcher Doctor Simon Crouch said children raised by same-sex partners scored an average of 6 per cent higher than the general population on measures of general health and family cohesion.
"That's really a measure that looks at how well families get along, and it seems that same-sex-parent families and the children in them are getting along well, and this has positive impacts on child health," Dr Crouch said.
There were more than 33,000 families with same-sex parents living in Australia, according to the most recent Australian Bureau of Statistics census.

I guess the thousands of years of traditional marriage was a total failure..... To the gays we are just breeders... Supplying products for their twisted sick lives.
In my experience children raised by same sex couples are so brain screwed that they’re barely functional.
A thought just occurred to me.
The term “Gay” is sexist. My experience with homosexual people of both genders suggests that “Gay” only applies to male homosexuals. The term “Surly” applies to female homosexuals.
Our "news" media are nothing but propagandists.
Nothing better than a totally unnatural and immoral upbringing I guess.
The correct term for male homosexuals is Queer.

Same-sex “couples” tend to be above the median income, so the children have that in their favor. But their little minds are being screwed up.

Like the gay judges who keep claiming their same-sex partnerships are just exactly the same as the marriages of the heterosexual couples down the block. Unfortunately, of course, the public has decided to believe them.

Cherry pick the data.
Manipulate the model until you data fits your agenda.

Fake. Homosexuals are attention seeking personalities and therefore we see that flamboyant homosexual behavior. They teach their children to put on that flamboyant face as well.

and 315 is what percent of the 33000 families w/same-sex parents living in Australia? Is the sample really large enough for such broad application?
We’ve seen direct testimony here on FR, and this is BUNK.
The guy explained that without a male role model he had no idea how to function in society and his awkwardness made him an outcast.
He was confused and let himself be used by gays, and later had problems with booze and drugs.
He went on, but you get the point.
