So my cell phone rings and the number "6" comes up on caller ID. I answer the phone, "hello?"....after a few seconds pause I hear, "is Mr GLA there?" I reply, "that's me" to which i hear "hello- this is Brad from the Republican National Committee"....
I stop him and say, "sorry, I'm not a Republican- i'm a Tea Party Conservative...take my name off your list and stop calling until you people stand with us"....gotta say it felt good!!
I get a call or an email every day from the GOP and tell them: “no money for RINOs.”
They will probably remain stuck on corrupt, weak and stupid.

I changed affiliation to Independent about 8 months ago. When someone from the RNC asked me for money I told them that I was no longer a Republican. When they asked why I had changed I told them I could not be a liar the way they were and I could not be a Democrat who at least admitted they were. End of conversation and no more calls.
I’d say less news, more activism. Exactly the kind of activism true patriots need to be partaking in at this time in our history.

Half of the emails Rove and GOPe send me get a reply with uncensored directions on where they can shove it.
I no longer get letters. Used to be inundated with them. But I kept sending them back, saying I no longer support the GOP due to its shabby, backstabbing treatment of Palin. I don’t think I’ve received anything from them since 2012. But I kept my word, and no longer go down the ballot and give every GOP candidate my vote. Only bona-fide tea-party candidates.

Just sent a small contribution to McDaniel. Wanted to do something to help get him to the finish line in three weeks.
Since Cochran’s campaign jokers are supposedly going to make an issue about all the financial assistance coming to McD from other states sent Cochran an email and told him at least one Texas is contributing an unGodly huge sum of $20.

They’ve been calling me. I told them no money till they start focusing on issues from a conservative perspective. Few outside of Washington DC sees immigration, climate change, or many of the other issues they get stuck on as important and until they start fighting for conservative constitutional values I’m not giving them a penny. I’ll give directly to candidates and that is it. I’m not giving money to re-elect Thad Cochran’s and Lindsey Grahams. Sorry no deal.
