Around here, voting for Rubio will not get you huge conservative points. I would have voted for him, but his name has been stained at this point. Start a thread on him and you’ll find that out.

As for your other declaration, I can only sigh.

Tillis is going to mop up the floor beating Kay Hagan!!!

Thompson is going to mop up the floor beating Tammy Baldwin!!!

Berg is going to mop up the floor beating Heidi Heitkamp!!!

I don’t think endorsements matter at all most of the time. It appears that Tillis did a great job getting the voters to vote for him. Brennan was creamed and did a terrible job getting the voters to vote for him. That is the bottom line. It does not matter the reason.....Brennan failed at his job and the results prove it.

The Rino Dewhurst is going down again later this month, so all isn’t bad. There needed to be real challenger to Cornyn.

Ah, anywhere between 40% and 50% is less than 1/2 of the voters.

As I stated in the post you referenced - between then the two runner up conservatives got more votes than Tillis.

So even though Tillis “wins” the primary he did it with less than 50%. That means over 50% of the voters voted against him.

Like I said if the conservatives got behind one guy they would win every time. But they keep splitting their votes allowing the GOP-e guy to float to the top every time.

I think the massive amount of money given to Tillis by Karl Rove’s groups and the Chamber of Crony Capitalist b****** probably helps a lot.

I agree, Obama has worked out much better in every respect. See you at Hillary’s Inaugural.

Harris was being funded by the establishment. Go figure. Check the Huckabee endorsement.

Is “Project Vote Smart” credible?

These are just a few of his positions on the issues at that site.

Thom will oppose any gun or ammunition ban in the U.S. Senate and he will fight any effort to require federal permission for firearm transfers between friends and relatives. The Second Amendment is a vital protection for an honest citizenry and it must be defended.

Thom believes the traditional family is the bedrock of America’s culture and a driver of our nation’s well being. Thom is committed to defending the institution of the traditional family. He believes that marriage is between one man and one woman and believes in protecting the rights of the unborn. Thom believes all life is sacred and as Speaker, he promoted pro-life policies and helped reverse the pro-abortion state policies Democrats had put in place for decades. In the Senate, Thom will promote a culture of life and he will champion the appointment of qualified pro-life judges.

Our porous border threatens our national security and undermines our rule of law. Thom believes we must provide border patrol agents with the additional resources, personnel, and technology needed to effectually protect us and keep out those who want to do us harm, those who are transporting narcotics, and those who would break our laws. Thom opposes amnesty and he believes Congress should solve our border security crisis now - before it even debates any other changes to our immigration laws.

ObamaCare is a cancer on our national economy and it threatens the quality of every American’s health care. It is paralyzing business expansion, displacing families from the health coverage they have now, raising costs, and threatening the federal treasury for all future years. ObamaCare is ridden with policies that are bad for families, bad for seniors, bad for businesses, and bad for the economy. Thom will fight in the Senate for full repeal of ObamaCare, for defunding ObamaCare, and he will work to implement private sector solutions to reduce healthcare costs for North Carolinians.

Oh, he’s bad. I’d put him in the Lindsey Graham wing. He’ll be John McCain’s handmaiden in no time.

You...my friend are exactly right!!! Tillis could have certainly been easily defeated by a single strong conservative like Ted Cruz or MIke Lee, etc. but....that did not happen!!! It’s called strategic thinking & planning!!! Tillis is now the man!!! I want to defeat Kay Hagan...period!!!

I think more and more Freepers each year just get sick of the establishment. Its a vocal minority who enjoy the punishment from the likes of Steve Law and Peter King. The rest of us would rather wash our hands of both Hitler and Quisling.
