There are tons of militant absolutists here. They completely unravel if someone who is not pure wins a primary. I would rather get 70%-80% of something than nothing.

My decision whether or not to vote third party comes down to this: If the person, such as Tom Ridge, Arlen Specter or Barbara Hafer of Pa. would probably join the Democrats if they lived in another state or district, they are not worth my vote. Specter and Hafer proved me right, and Ridge proved to be a big-spending liberal as governor. Bob
This is a race of inches and will not be won with one candidate or even one or more than one election.
It is a gradual contest where day by day, contest by contest, inch by precious inch it eventually becomes unthinkable to to be a leftist or a rino.
