Thanks for the article, I learned something about Dr. Carson today.
That is the main reason I posted this because when I first heard his answer to Beck about the 2nd, he lost me for someone knowledgeable about the Constitution.
He certain paid attention to his science and medicine classes but apparently failed miserably if he had to take any civics or American History classes. But then again, did he fail or did the teachers and professors? I would assume the latter.
I liked his Prayer Breakfast appearance and was motivated to learn more about him. When I read his plan for healthcare started off by saying “we can have the gummint give folks...” he lost me. I didn’t need to go one word farther. I would like to thank him, actually, for putting that up front. Saved me some time.

one needs more than one issue to support a candidate as former sen Scott Brown has proven with his liberal votes.

He needs to take a look at Detroit which has almost exactly the same stand your ground laws as Florida and its being used with great effect, primarily by blacks.
Ironic. I got into some heated ‘discussion’ with some here re: Carson’s previous discourse on the emergency-of-now for the traditional GOP and how it seems only the economy should be tackled, leaving the ‘social issues’, entitlements, et al for ‘later’.
In these discussions, one FReeper (at the suggestion of another) threw out an insinuation that I must be racist for disagreeing with Carson.
So, Carson now has on his race-filter glasses. I’m guessing what I’ll be called because I now don’t agree with him on this.
Had to explain this to my mother a few weeks back. She was very disappointed.
Good Doctor here are the facts; The kid was staying in a “mixed” “gated” community who knew they had security patrols. Zimmerman despite his “jewish” forename is as black as the kid was. The kid was observed, never questioned and allowed to go on his way but instead doubled back coldcocked Zimmerman as he was going back to his vehicle. Knocked Zimmerman to ground and got killed while struggling for Zimmermans gun. OK !
Obama who’s been in consistant trouble with the polls and facing threatened impeachment needed to rally his biggest support group the blacks and used this episode and with the help of the media manufactured a story of “racism”. Which Obama has never distanced himself from and that has divided them from the rest of the country to the extent that black youths feel entitled to attack other races. That has resulted in many not a handfull of racial murders, of whites, hispanics, and asians.
If your going to use racial examples I earnestly urge you not to use that episode as one. In fact sir; You should be condemming it.

You can never get away from the fact that no matter how conservative a black may be—there is always that “race factor” involved that pushes them towards the liberal fence. Only a tiny handful really get it (Niger Innis is one of them).

You're playing the race card, which will exclude you from any elective office, where Republicans are the majority. You could run in a Black majority district somewhere and try your luck with Democrats.
You know....you have to go back and wonder....if Zimmerman had only a taser on him, and he’d tased Trayvon....what would have happened? Probably a civil suit against Zimmerman for assault on a teenage kid....who attacked Zimmerman first?
