First, take a look at the photograph provided by the Washingtonian Magazine, and annotated by The Week:

Now, let’s focus on the poster on the right...

It's not our fight, but how timely as Russia resumes aggression against its neighbors.

These people don’t even try to hide who they really are anymore.

They met each other in Russia, so hanging Soviet art is cute. I mean, if you met your spouse in Germany, wouldn’t you want to hang Third Reich propaganda posters in your home?

The wealthy lifestyle of this family is typical of the hypocrisy routinely practiced by libtard Marxist sympathizers.

There's a show on the FX Channel called "The Americans". It's set in the early '80s. Two KGB agents pose as your average suburban American couple with two kids. An FBI agent just happens to move in across the street and so ensues a number of close encounters that require the KGB agents to lie their way through. The tension is palpable but the agents lie so smoothly, the FBI guy buys it time after time.

Now I'm not saying Jay Carney and Claire Shipman are KBG agents.

But then, the KGB is not called the KBG anymore is it?

Parental guidance alert: Extremely strong language and sexual situations. Stuff I didn't know you could say or show on non-pay cable channels.

It all fits. Lysenko was the ideal role model for scientists in Obama’s America. The “science is settled” and the “debate is over”. Those that do not conform are purged and may face arrest.

There was another picture of them in his library. It was obviously photoshopped as he had three copies of War and Peace.

I am as red white and blue as the next guy. I find a lot of WWII posters to be fascinating. Including German and Russian propaganda.

Doesn’t make me a nazi or a commie.

The photoshop spread in the Washingtonian reveals a lot more than Carney intended....

So, do decorate your kitchen with Nazi recruiting posters?

I accept your explanation for yourself but frankly anyone else if I see Nazi or Communist propaganda posters in their house, I think they are what they appear to be.

You wouldn't think the chief spokesman for an American President would go there though.

That, too. They're cute and multi-talented.

I was just thinking about war trophies (the Cold War was a war after all). And this family looks as wholesome as. . . any American family I’ve ever met. But, ya know, Mr. Carney is at least a pink dupe propagandist, if not a full-blown tovarisch of the Komsomol. I would not display a Soviet poster in my kitchen.
