Is ObamaCare a fundamental right that our Founding Fathers would have envisioned for the country?
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi recently suggested that the founders would have supported ObamaCare.
Fox Business Network’s Elizabeth MacDonald said that the Founding Fathers wouldn’t have even given Pelosi the right to vote back then. MacDonald said they wanted the states to govern themselves and wouldn’t have wanted the central government to control health care.

Wow. She thinks the men that believed in personal responsibility and self sufficiency, limited Government control over the people, would want total Government control over everyone’s healthcare? Living proof you can not fix stupid..
She is exactly correct.
The founders would have supported all 3000 pages of the ACA on a pedestal of some sort, and the Continental army would commence firing every musket and every one of Knox’s canons at it until it was obliterated into smiterines.

I will never forget the famous words of Thomas Jefferson and James Madison who issued a joint statement about the Constitution that they had authored: “Just ratify it. We’ve got to pass it to find out what’s in it.”
That's not my take.
Pelosi's grasp of history is about as firm as her knowledge of the Constitution. The first colony almost perished in its entirety after trying Pelosi's brand of socialism.
My understanding is the The Founding Fathers would immediately have supported burning at the stake.
