Sadly disappointing, but lacking a reference point. Did they have a virtue code for their claimed-Christian employees in the past? What was it? I.e. have they really gotten worse or is it only now obvious how bad they were?

The meaning of the word "Christian" seems to have expanded beyond recognition.
By current standards, Nero could have been considered a Christian.

This is a bit of a hobby horse with me.

Christendom dumped sexual purity on the ground long before “gay” as an issue nosed into its tent.

Adulterers can’t effectively urge purity on other adulterers. It’s the old beam and speck problem.

they are trying to compartmentalize themselves away from this by saying “it’s a church issue”.

all christians make up the church. we are to be christians 24/7 at work, at home, at church, at play.

it’s a rationalization and cop-out.

the only reason it became a “contested hot topic” is because militan gays turned it into one and Christians turned their backs on God’s Word and began acquiescing.

i think you’ll find small minorities of people - mostly liberals - are the reason for the hetero changes you mention. mostly communists and liberals peddling it as some kind of freedom. no fault divorce to empower and free women. corrupt regular men and women sexually was a communsit manifesto goal. the rank and file regular folks didn’t go for this crap nor were they pushing for it.

they are from the same mindset and militant culture the extremit homosexual advocates are from.

When sexual purity got winked and nodded at, soon the “gay” were asking “why not” to things they hadn’t even dared to dream about in the past. If you went back 2-3 decades you would have gotten incredulous stares from the homosexual crowd if you had asked it about marriage.
