Bless you brother! That's been my mantra for these PC situations all these years. Would that that philosophy would take hold in Corporate America (the media is hopeless).
It seems that on it's Facebook page, CB is deleting all comments that don't wholeheartedly embrace their "apology". It happened to me, and others are reporting it as well. For example, I commented:
"Apology tentatively accepted. I will make it a point to visit my local CB this week. If I see Phil's face in the store, I'll go in and have a good breakfast. If not, the boycott continues. :)"
That's all I said, and I even got a couple of "likes" on my comments from other viewers. Then, 30 seconds later, the whole thing was gone-- although a lot of other comments accepting their "apology" (and a whole lot of anti-Phil and anti-Christian posts) were still there. How sincere are they about this?

Indeed. My comment came off as critical, I didn't really intend it to be that way.
This management team behaved stupidly. Their CEO needs to take a fall without a parachute for malfeasance.
Not even a press release on this stupidity. Not all publicity is good publicity is it?

Ms. Cochran became President and Chief Executive Officer on September 12, 2011 following her service as Cracker Barrel’s President and Chief Operating Officer, a post she assumed in November 2010. One of the things you learn as a pilot is not to put teflon tape on the threads of an oxygen bottle since it is poisonous when you combine the two. I’m surprised non-stick pans are allowed on the market since heating Teflon up helps it to combine with oxygen and thus poison the user.
They forgot to add the part where the entire management team was out to lunch or had their collective heads up their butts.
What part of “Old Country Store” image did they not associate with their clientele. Most of the time, when I used to go there, it was older folks.
They demonstrated principles I don’t share. It has hurt their pocket book now. They prove their principles can be bought... MINE CAN’T. I’ll never go back to *******Barrel. Others will forget but I won’t. It will matter to me but not them so I’ll just stick to my principles.
That's frigging hilarious! Can you imagine attending a political speech or social gathering and some airhead starts spouting this "offended" crap about a public cross/bible display, gay/racial criticism, etc. and a chorus (even two or three - maybe one) of duck calls sound off. There's gotta be a lot of people in attendance who would get it and inform those who didn't. The whole complaint would be immediately deflated.
Limbaugh, or any radio guy ought to promote this. (Love to see a TV show of talking heads where Juan Williams, et al, spouts off and someone else take out his duck call and . . . :-) )

So you are willing to compromise your principles by patronizing a business led by people who have demonstrated principles that you claim not to share?
An apology isn’t good enough for me.
There are lots of other places to buy iron cookware, candy and Gaither CDs.
A breakfast taco from just about anywhere will do me just fine.

I don’t see it that way. Messages have to be permanent and a deterrent for others. Maybe, though I seriously doubt there will be enough people of principle to make it happen, if people drove by enough shuttered CBs they would remember why they went out of business and understand freedom and free speech need to be let alone.
CB tried to cater to everyone. That was stupid.
They finally realized their customer base wasn’t gay?
I find them in garage sales all the time, some frying pans big enough to fry a dozen eggs at once, and not scrambled either!
I’ve even found cast iron Dutch ovens.
