I don’t think there’s any truth to it, but on the flip side, Obama and Dems should know from history that gun control is the real 3rd rail of politics for the Democrat party. Once they go hard left on that issue, they usually see a real tide turned. They tried it in Clinton’s first two years, and there is no doubt 1994 was influenced in part on this issue.

Sounds goofy, but there is something to this here.
Obama and the liberal turds in DC tried hard to use Sandy Hook as the springboard to grab guns. When they failed to get the necessary votes, they whined and cried for months. They are still crying.
To libs The Sandy Hook shootings was nothing but another manufacured crises to overturn the 2nd. And that was the biggest failure so far to the Kenyan.
What will be the ultimate fail for Obastard? The utter failure of ObamaCare. I will be ecstatic when that day comes.

Er. complete nonsense, unless the headline is very misleading since I didn’t read the whole thing.
Adan Lanza was a sick and despicable person who killed 26 innocent people, many of whom were tiny children. Isn’t that enough to blame him for?

Libs were a bit upset because some of those gun *safety* measures polled popular but they figured the GOP would be punished for it. .
But I dont see where they blamed that on Obama.
The Obamacare rollout is what really got the libs upset with Obama.
It is blowing it for them, in less than a year when then they believed anyone in congress defying Obama’s orders would be toast, now Obama has no pulpit.

Lanza allegedly strolled into a school, not one photograph has been released to back that up.

Immigration was in an almost impossible bipartisan sweet spot: a singularly important policy goal for Democrats that could be a political boon for both parties. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

I would like to think that, had the GOP had the WH and Senate when Adam Lanza struck, they would not have gone down the liberal path of gun control hysteria. Adam Lanza did a sick and grievous thing, but 0bama and the dems could have altered the agenda, turned down the rhetoric, and maintained more “control” over the media themes going forward. They CHOSE to go try to make the Newtown shootings into an excuse for gun-grabbing regulations and chose to take the risk that there would be no u-turn available if they failed.

Fair enough thesis. But it’s not really Lanza’s fault. It’s a fault buried deep in progressive DNA. They cannot resist gun control. Moth’s DNA lures them to flames. Progressive DNA lures them to gun control. Gun control has to happen for them to have their way with the country the way they know they should. It is inconceivable to them that anyone could disagree with them about gun control.
So Lanza was Satan, whispering the fatal temptation into their ear: “This time, gun control will be different. The NRA is a paper tiger and Americans don’t really agree with them. Just keep saying ‘common sense’ and it will all work out.” And the left couldn’t help but jump.
