Legalized Prostitutes At Nevada’s Bunny Ranch Back Obamacare

MOUND HOUSE, Nev. (CBS Las Vegas/AP) — President Barack Obama has at least one segment of America behind his health care law: the legalized prostitutes at the Moonlight Bunny Ranch.

The girls who work at the Bunny Ranch tell KRNV-TV that it was nearly impossible for them to get health insurance before because of their profession.

“Having this profession, we aren’t exactly offered group health insurance,” Taylor Lee said. “It’s hard because I do have a pre-existing condition so I really support Obamacare. I’m excited.”(continued)

These folks at Nevada’s Bunny Ranch have nothing on the prostitutes in Washington, DC. Politicians are next to hookers in plying the oldest profession.

I strongly disagree. The hookers at this brothel in NV are far more honest than the politicians, plus they negotiate in good faith for services in return for money. Everything is above board, and while sex takes place, nobody gets "screwed." Everybody walks away happy.

Completely different than what the scumbags in DC do to us. Hell, they don't even offer us lube before bending us over!

I don’t think he’s going to get hit with the bill.

Those women are working as independent contractors, and get 1099 forms at the end of the year. They’re the ones who will have to pay.

However, if they think it’s going to be inexpensive, they’re wrong. They make too much money to qualify for the subsidies. Many make well over $100,000 a year.

Out of curiosity I looked it up. They’re not required to be tested for Herpes and HPV.

So there’s a chance that’s the pre-existing condition she has trouble with. HPV causes cervical issues and herpes is chronic.

Are you talking about the state's requirements? I wouldn't doubt that Hoff is stricter than the state when it comes to testing. Hoff is nothing if not a businessman. Do you think that he's allow a woman to work at his place if there was a possibility that she could spread an infection?

That could cause the state health department to close him down, but more importantly, if word got out that infections were being spread at his place, the publicity would ruin him.

My guess is that he's probably even more interested in running a "clean business" than are the ladies!

I would guess that the brothel has non-”performing” employees; e.g., housekeeping, security, possibly bar and/or food service, etc. (Just guessing; I’m not in the business.) Also, I’m reasonably certain that the brothel isn’t his only business.

“Having this profession, we aren’t exactly offered group health insurance,” Taylor Lee said. “It’s hard because I do have a pre-existing condition so I really support Obamacare. I’m excited.”

And THAT’s why you should stay away from these lovely ladies.

Yeah. I don’t doubt he’d try to be safer as he has a public persona. Just saying though that it’s not required by the state and most people don’t worry about HPV. Herp would be a more serious issue though.

Exactly right. You could make the case that the hookers at the Bunny Ranch actually perform useful services to customer. The same cannot be said for politicians in Washington, DC.
