I’ll miss him. Its not easy coming up with wacko stuff that is also context relevant.

I wondered where he was. These things are rarely “amicable.”

Now he will get a job with the MSM where he trashes Fox News, isn’t that what usually happens?

Awww, poo. Yes he was repulsive and his humor was bizarre but I was getting used to him.

Awwww, that’s sad. Bill has an incredible wit, was as quick as Greg Gutfeld himself, and that’s not easy to do, and was the perfect foil for Greg. Plus he grew up in a Chicago suburb, like myself, and had that Midwestern droll sense of humor. I hope he is happy whatever he chooses to do next in life.

Bill Schulz was quick and often witty but I always thought that he tried a bit too hard. However, the impromptu structure of Red Eye makes that almost impossible to avoid at times. Still, he'll be missed. However, after 6 years, I can see why Schulz would be ready for a change.

Andy Levy is deadpan which can work if he ever came up with a funny line, but he never does. Levy needs to be moved back to his 'commentator' position or let go. He adds nothing. Greg Gutfeld is still the center of the show but he can't carry it without some foils. I hope Schulz can be replaced with another witty improv comic that can function well in an ensemble such as Red Eye.

I’ve never appreciated that brand of “humor”.

A perfectly annoying asset to the show. Too bad.

Sorry to hear the news. Never really watched RedEye all that much but the few times I did I quite liked Bill. Greg Gutfield does much better on The Five, I think, and I always thought he was outrageously funny when he was a desperate last-minute stand-in host in place of O’Reilly. Bill Schulz, if you read this, I hope you do well, mate.

Aww. I liked Schulz, most of the time. Didn’t agree with him, but he was a good sport and funny in his own way. Best of luck to him.

BTW, am I the only one secretly hoping to see Michelle Malkin in the Red Eye “leg chair” some day?

That's a bummer. While many times his views were slanted left, he was fun on the show.

I just hope they plan on replacing Bill. Or maybe that's why they changed to the new format (which I don't much like), where Andy Levy sits in the entire episode. Granted, I like Andy, but I loved the halftime report and snippy/snarky comments he had for each guest and Greg. Those seem to be missing now without the half time and post time breaks.

My favorite guest however, who I wish they would have on as a regular (maybe take Bill's place) is Gavin McInnes. Although sometimes I like it when Gavin's dad, Jimmy McInnes shows up. And I always get a kick when his liberal hippy brother Miles McInnes is a guest.

Fine with me. Now they can get rid of Gutfeld and crew.

Red Eye is occasionally entertaining.

It's official .... Red Eye has jumped the shark

Though it's about the only thing I still watch on FOX News these days, Greg Gutfeld has just been mailing it in since he got his gig on the daytime version of Red Eye - - The Five

I wonder if Bob Beckel realizes that he's the daytime Bill Shultz. At least Shultz didn't take himself seriously in his role. I find The Five unwatchable (in great part because of the intellectual dishonesty of Bob Beckel and Juan Williams, et. al. - they'll just say anything and the rest of the vapid panel lets them get away with it) as most of the rest of FOX news these days but The Five is the essence of FOX NEWS - liberals who will say anything posed alongside RINOs and Tokyo Rove establishment types in a series of Jerry Springer settings

The Five is just a daytime version of Red Eye with more leg chairs - I'm just not sure the 'hosts' get that yet because they try to validate by taking themselves seriously

. Good luck to Bill Shultz he was at least honest with himself about his role ,,, that's much more than most on FOX can say these days - hey it's really all about selling soap

.

I thought he was hilarious. He will be missed. He either got a better offer or he’s not well.
