NISQUALLY RESERVATION, Wash. - The search is on for more human remains after a dog dragged a human leg home to her owner on Tuesday.
The gruesome discovery was made on the Nisqually Reservation, and on Sunday, investigators found even more body parts after one day of searching.
93-year-old Bill Flowers found the leg after his dog Liberty dragged it home, and was standing over it.
"I examined it," Flowers said. "I picked it up, and looked at the toes and nothing. None of the leg or foot was damaged - from the knee down it wasn't damaged at all."
Flowers said the leg was gray in color, and was dismembered about 4 inches from the buttocks.
He buried the leg in his backyard, and didn't call police until four days later - at the urging of his daughter.
"When I got home he told me, and I said, 'Dad we have to call the police'," Cheryl Flowers said.
Bill Flowers says he didn't report the incident immediately because he was scared he might be accused of murdering the person.
He said, "I was afraid to call. I'm 93 years-old. I didn't want to have to go to the pen for something I didn't do."
Detectives put a GPS collar on Liberty, hoping she would lead them to the rest of the body. But it was search and rescue dogs who found more remains - a pelvis and rib cage in the woods at the Nisqually Tribe's old fish hatchery.
Thurston County Coroner Gary Warnock said a pathologist will look at the remains to determine if it is a man or woman and what instrument or tools were used to dismember the body.

My pals name is Foot Foot (Foot Foot)
He always likes to roam
My pals name is Foot Foot (Foot Foot)
I never find him home
I go to his house
Knock at his door
People come out and say
Foot Foot dont live here no more
My pal Foot Foot (Foot Foot)
Always likes to roam
My pal Foot Foot (Foot Foot)
Now he has no home
Where will Foot Foot go
What will Foot Foot do
Oh, Foot Foot
I wish I could find you
Ive looked here, Ive looked there
Ive looked everywhere
Oh, Foot Foot
Why cant I find you?
Foot Foot, where can you be?
Foot Foot, why wont you answer me?
Foot Foot, Oh Foot Foot
Wherever you are
I want you to come home with me
I dont have time to roam
I have things to do
I have to go home
Oh, Foot Foot, where are you?
If Foot Foot didnt like to roam so well
He would still have a place to dwell
Foot Foot, please answer me
I know where you are
Youre behind that tree
Foot Foot, please come to me
Foot Foot, now that youre here
Wont you come home
Foot Foot, promise me this
That you will never again roam

WIDE EYED AND LEGLESS
Andy Fairweather Lowe
Wherever I go and whatever I do
I seem to spend some of my time
Trying to turn the black night, blue
Well Im tired of it all
Its the same thing every night
But the rhythm of the glass
Is stronger than the rhythm of night
Wide eyed and legless
Ive gone and done it again
Wide eyed and legless
This world is full of my shame
Shame, I cant get free from these chains
Oh, oh-oh
(Instru.)
Wide eyed and legless
Ive gone and done it again
Wide eyed and legless
This world is full of my shame
Shame, I cant get free from these chains
Oh, oh-oh
Ive been here before
But this time it feels like the end
I shouldve known better, I know
But my memorys no friend
Well, Ive tried every thing
That I know will get rid of this fling
And I cant understand
Why Im wide eyed and legless again
Wide eyed and legless
Ive gone and done it again
Wide eyed and legless
This world is full of my shame
Shame, I cant get free from these chains
Oh, oh-oh

I always but the boot on the other foot in cases like this, especially when the subject matter is so disjointed.
Then you’d better toe the line.
