Heads up, Freepers.
Phony news organizations are pushing a brand new narrative, hot off the press from OFA no doubt. They are pushing bogus push polls conducted in Utah and Texas to give the impression that Cruz and Lee are losing support in their home states, and that Texans and Utahns want their senators to 'compromise more'.
This is evidently BS, and is an attempt to give a leg up to Karl Rove and his lackeys who want Obamacare forever, and want to discourage Republicans from standing with Ted and Mike.
I would encourage everyone, regardless of which state they are in, send a nice email or make a thank you phone call to these two patriots.
They are the future. The way forward. They have led the charge to defund this communist mafia takeover of our healthcare. Politico does not get to peddle crap and intimidate our guys.
The media is doing its best to push the idea that the shutdown is the Republicans fault using poll data. Not surprising they will do this. This is the Alinsky method that makes people believe they have the popular support.
Cue Claude Rains...
And I’m hearing backbencher talk radio hosts echo how this shutdown is bad optics for Conservatives!
Not even the libturds who actually listen to “the media” believe them anymore. LOL.
When Obamacare comes into full effect the Democrats will be hiding in their safe rooms.
There hasn't been a MSM poll in thirty years.
The media are conducting their usual interactive indoctrination propaganda so they have something to talk about in their published indoctrination propaganda.
These phoney polls are probably instigated if not paid for by Boner et al.
Good idea
Unfortunately we still have quite a few folks who believe everything spewed by Karl Rove...FoxMSNBCCNN....etc
Clean Resolution = Supporting ObamaCare
This is why Ted Cruz is so vilified....the database has no info on Cruz' skeletons and Cruz can still stick to his principles. BTW, that's why I've begun to admire Jesse Helms- he was such a personally upright man (he didn't go on Sunday talk shows because he taught Sunday School) that no matter how badly the Democrats tried to attack him, he could stick to his principles.
Perhaps the media is being undercut by Internet media. Perhaps House members have been overwhelmed by the contact its getting from Americans.
I don’t know
So sticking 300 milliion people with a bad law trumps bad press? When have the Republicans ever had good press? On ANYTHING?
They’re silent on the reputable Yougov polling:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3078203/posts
“Who is the biggest obstacle to ending the shutdown?”
44% Obama or Democrats in Congress
42% Republicans in Congress
The poll is even better when you look closely.
On the one hand it may be good news that the media is so desperate.
Pushing their Democrat agenda, 1 poll at a time Posted on October 12, 2013
Word has it Congressional Republicans are all in a lather over the latest poll showing theyre being blamed for the govt shutdown more than the President and Democrats.
They should relax as usual, a skewed-Democrat poll; heavily weighted Democrat (+11% vs Republican), and 20% govt workers (2.5x more than the American avg).
And, after reading the 17-page poll, its evident no one was asked if they knew what the Republican position was in the current negotiations just asking who was to blame.
With polling heavily weighted Democrat, with Obama and his media minions misstating the GOP position, it would be shocking if Republicans WERENT blamed.
What the media wont tell you: the poll showed respondents think Ocare was a bad idea, that Obamas pushing his own agenda, and more disapprove of him than approve.
Even heavily weighted to favor Democrats!
Republicans have two simple and fair demands from Democrats and Obama
House Republicans demand a 1-year delay of Ocares individual mandate. Democrats gave Business a 1-year delay individual citizens deserve the same break.
House Republicans demand Congress shouldnt exempt themselves from Ocare they should have to comply with the law just like everyone. Who can argue against that?
If polled respondents actually knew this, the results would have been very different.
Call your Republican Congressman, and tell them to stand strong.
82% of Democrats Say End Shutdown; 71% of GOP Say Keep It Going
There's nothing "new" about this, they've been doing this for years. They generated hate for GWB this way, they got Obama elected this way, and they choose the GOP candidates this way.
