Zero tolerance, political correctness, and obsessing over fat kids are symptomatic of the failure of American public education. Granted, violence, drug use, and obesity are serious problems in our society. However, schools are being used for too many things other than education.
I was considered overweight then. I look at my pictures and wish I could get back to that!!
I think more it is the US Dept. of Education at work with guidance / mandates on the schools since schools depend upon federal money. Idiocy trickling down!
We are discussing faculty/administration acts at a Naples, FL POOBKIL SKREWL COLLECTIVE.
As such ‘hives of villainy’, they are much more likely to taking her clothes off.

One of my daughters did experience an eating disorder after her idiot teacher showed her class the lunatic documentary “Supersize Me”.
She was not only terrified to eat McDonalds...she was afraid to eat virtually ANYTHING! Had years of issues with her afterwards. In hindsight I should have sued the school AND Morgan Spurlock.
You don’t need a documentary film maker to tell you it’s not good to eat at McDonalds every day. That’s what you have a MOTHER for!!!
The school’s idea of “Overweight” is probably based on an asinine height/weight table, rather than on a body fat measurement. Schools do stupid things like that these days.

The kid doesn’t look overweight to me.
Going to the birthday this weekend of this lady whose child turns 8 and due to all the soda, pigs in a blanket and other hormone infested food is already 5’4” and about 180.
She has a 12 year old brother who is 6’3” and about 340.
The eat the worst food and they struggle to breath.
Since when have government schools been accurate in anything? Teachers cheat on tests (remark incorrect answers to boost their productivity).
I consider that overweight. My last two lady friends were 5'8" and 105 and 110 lbs, and they were NOT anorexic looking.

I thought schools were there to teach. I guess not. Obviously they’re there to enforce government decrees and to take away a parent’s rights concerning the child.
Goal of communism: eliminate the family so the government will be the only body that instills values in children.
Girls can mature earlier than people think. This one may not add much more weight if she stays active and doesn’t create fat cells from here on out. At 5’5”, she could add another 2” over the next 6-8 years. If she has reached puberty earlier, than the stats don’t apply in her case.
