'Gestapo' tactics meet senior citizens at Yellowstone

NEWBURYPORT — Pat Vaillancourt went on a trip last week that was intended to showcase some of America’s greatest treasures.

Instead, the Salisbury resident said she and others on her tour bus witnessed an ugly spectacle that made her embarrassed, angry and heartbroken for her country....

For many hours her tour group, which included senior citizen visitors from Japan, Australia, Canada and the United States, were locked in a Yellowstone National Park hotel under armed guard.

Last week at Cape Lookout National Seashore the park service confined a couple of dozen visitors to their rental cabins until the private ferry could get them and their vehicles off the island.

These cabins are rough. Commode/gas stove, hot and cold water only. No electricity unless you bring your own generator.

Threatened them with arrest if they walked on the beach or dared to fish.

I'm very concerned why the park rangers should be so aggressive.

The faces of tyranny have been unmasked.

Good, decent people should reflect upon the historical attitudes of certain relatives, coworkers, neighbors, and other associates. Have they had a desire for real adult interaction and relationships, or a penchant for control? Have they pulled emotional, petty, spiteful paybacks when they didn't get their way? Have they been habitually offended when others wouldn't play by their rules? Are they the types of people who give gifts and happily provide favors, not from a good heart, but with a motive of demanding payment on the "debt" sometime down the road?

These types recognize that now is time to punish those who wouldn't be manipulated in the past, because now they have the full weight of the feral bully government behind them.

Boston Massacre, the sequel? It may well come to that. Liberty-raping jackboots in the NPS should think carefully about the consequences of their actions.

Or, as Walter White would say, "tread lightly."

IF you had traveled half-way around the world on a once in a lifetime trip you had saved years for & were treated like these tourists were treated, I think you would be singing a different chorus.

The tourists were treated harshly by armed park employees, she said, so much so that some of the foreign tourists with limited English skills thought they were under arrest.

When finally allowed to leave, the bus was not allowed to halt at all along the 2.5-hour trip out of the park, not even to stop at private bathrooms that were open along the route.

“We’ve become a country of fear..."

And these goons aren't even 'homeland insecurity' troops... these are PARK RANGERS.

How long will it be before one of these feral government thugs opens fire on a disobedient subject?

We know it's coming...

We have to get the word out to make damned sure everybody possible knows this “shutdown” of the government, and these illegal happenings by the NPS, etc. ARE in fact at the hands of the Democrats.

This is the results of Democrats NOT getting their way. The people never asked for, or wanted Obamacare, and it’s illegal as ‘H’ now that it’s no longer the law that was signed into law by the Democrats.

Hold the line. Don’t give into the tantrums of the Democrat Party.

Re: Germany in ‘30s.

1) Political leadership
2) Gun confiscation under the guise of public safety
3) Political opponents labelled as troublemakers and saboteurs.
4) Political opponents and critics beaten, imprisoned or disappeared for the sake of national unity.

“Start putting these folks on TV with interviews. Also the elderly people in Lake Mead.”

That doesn’t fit the MediaMatters/OFA/Tina Brown-approved narrative. To go against the meme would mean looking for a new 6-figure media job in the Obama Economy, and the previous examples of this are numerous.

This is how fascism works, folks.

The Bible tells us that Judas found his own acts distasteful also. At least he threw the 30 pieces back at the priests.

Finding it “distasteful” but doing it anyway is simply a tactic to excuse what they know is wrong, but kind of enjoy. I’m sorry, if your moral code is not strong enough to stand up for right against wrong even when YOU will suffer for it, then you don’t HAVE a moral code.

Most of these situations are easily avoided: Folks taking pictures of buffalo? Stand there and chat with the bus-driver about what a jerk obama is. Armed guard outside the hotel? Go door-to-door telling folks they are free to roam the grounds, but there are no safety personnel, so they must be careful. If a federal employee were fired for refusing to commit such an act, I would wish I was the attorney for said employee.

Here is the way citizens should approach these situations:
FIRST - get video
SECOND - send the video to your congressman and senators DEMANDING that he/she stop this immediately.
THIRD - call local law enforcement, demanding action.
FOURTH - call local politicians
FIFTH - call local media and Fox News, explaining what is being done by the feds and what is or is not being done by local authorities. Explain to them that there will be massive civil disobedience in 1 hour.
SIXTH - DISOBEY! Dare them to arrest you or shoot you. Make sure there are witnesses and there is video rolling. Be polite, be calm, explain that you are disobeying unlawful orders, and as a citizen, you are refusing to be intimidated by these fascist thugs. Then hope you are arrested.

And all the homeowners complied??? How many of them chained themselves to their homes? How many refused to go? How many of them told the jack-boots to GTH?

The "enforcers" have to live locally, and should be SHUNNED at a minimum.

It's doubtful that any but a very small percentage of NPS workers are locals. NPS makes sure that the premier parks are staffed by vetted 'Greens'. Pretty sure that they live in group housing on site or just off site.

Remember that for eight years the Clintons and their crew, all too many of whom serve under Obama, were able to stack every agency with hard core 'progressives'. Eight years of that. And Dubya's admin did damn little to clean house at any level. So those fifth columnists acquired seniority and became more entrenched and harder to dislodge. At the onset of this administration these folk had 16 years to infiltrate their folk and transform every cabinet's administrative culture almost without exception. Those now working know no other way of doing things. To them it has always been 'this way'. How do you think all the Occupy mobs received kid glove treatment?

Shun them? They don't give a rat's behind about that. They already hold common citizens in contempt and now well armed they have been uncaged and finally given the marching orders they've been waiting for. They want to shut these parks down permanently to the common folk. They're champing at the bit to escalate the use of force.

Now, it's a fact that Yellostone is a huge place with many dangerous spots and dangerous animals, grizzlies, wolves and such. Why even experienced rangers could lose their way and never be found, recycled back into Gaia's loving arms. Buzzards got eat too. Might even become a real hazard to these watermelons.

Not long the way things are going and that is exactly what Stompy Foot wants - an excuse to declare martial law. Then the Revolution begins.

How do we really know that isn’t what happened in DC with Miriam Carey? After all, there were extra barricades installed because of the shutdown. Let’s assume it was a WWII vet and he was gunned down in similar circumstances, do you really think the Feds would admit the mistake? We would be hearing the exact crap, he tried to ram the wall and LE. He had a history of PTSD, he had dementia, etc.
