Here is some related activity. An open carry protest over the illegal arrest of a man who said he wanted to take a picture of himself with a rifle in front of the McAllen Police Department:

AND try to dictate to me where to live.

Chill FRiend, Red wrote you lived in a freak political state, he didn't dictate anything to you, your sensitive sensibilities are up in a fluff.

Hypocrite.

Totally uncalled for, and, totally incorrect.

We know how leftists always accuse others of doing what they themselves are doing too. Still in the closet?

Someone wandering around in public with a large fire extinguisher is gonna get some strange looks and consternation.

No offense, but you would not know what freedom is if it bit you in the ass.

You are clueless. Stay in your clueless state. You fit in perfectly.

I have nothing against OC but think CC is a preferred option...

At one time in our history OC was the preferred and concealed carry was bad. Only evil gamblers carried concealed. Exception being Paladin on Have Gun Will Travel.

Great idea.. They could tell suppliers that and things would turn around rather quickly.

I hear ya, times change, things are rethought and other better conclusions arise.

Fact of the matter is it's a personal choice, for me CC is a better option. The right to each is absolute.

Why are you so fascinated by "child abusing teachers"? That is very very weird.

And I'm a leftist, huh? You're just sooo precious.

Randy Rogers had it right:

I might get up in the morning

I might sleep till the afternoon

I might howl at the moon all night

I might whistle a sad old tune

You can think just what you wanna think

And it ain't gonna make me blue

You might know everybody

But you don't know me.

He won’t be going back, unless corporate HQ spanks the local management, which seems plausible.

That's interesting. About a week ago I was waiting at the door in the reception area for an electric buggy (as I'm currently unable to walk more than a few feet due to crushed heel I have) and a store (asst?) store manager was actually refreshing the rules on weapon carrying within Wal-mart with the young female door greeter (about 22 or so) in the Porter, TX Wal-mart in my community. I thought that odd at the time.

I'm just wondering if the Huntsville incident might be related to what I overheard and saw that day. Who knows. Porter and Huntsville, TX are about 40+ miles apart. Huntsville by the way is home to the Texas prison system.

Yada yada yada. Still at it? Why don’t you go pick up your leftist MSM newspaper to read yet another story about a teacher, in whatever state, who has an inappropriate relationship with a student? It must titillate you immensely, since you can’t seem to let go of that topic. Out of how many millions of teachers are there the inevitable few bad apples? And of course, no other profession has their share of said bad apples? Like priests? Politicians? Doctors? But the MSM papers seem to search far and wide for stories about teachers, and then use misleading headlines to imply to readers that the incident is local. Anything to sell papers, and you eat it up like cream.

Open carry frightens the average citizen. Bad idea.

The reason is frightens citizens is because of cowards like you, who have, over the years, allowed the left to brainwash the public about firearms. When I was a kid growing up in the 40s and 50s, you could carry, not only long arms but hand guns, anywhere you wanted without scaring the crap out of people because they were used to it. Over the years since we have allowed the left to carry the day and make people terrified of firearms, as if they had a life of their own.

Cowards allowed it to happen because they had attitudes like yours, "Oh, don't up set the people, don't carry your gun in the open, oh my!". The fact is if we all did it as often as we wanted too, soon people would stop being terrified and accept it as part of life, the way they used to.

The MSM downplays stories about pervert teachers, which is all the more reason to talk about and make sure people know about it.

Being you are from NY this does not surprise me one bit.

Really? They DOWNPLAY the stories? Then why does the NY Post et al feature a story about a "pervert teacher" just about every single day, with maybe 1% of the stories being about local teachers and the rest about teachers in Bumville, ND and Postagestamp, NE? I don't see them combing far and wide across the country to find stories about pervert priests, doctors, plumbers, computer analysts--only teachers. You would think, given that kind of coverage, that every other teacher had inappropriate designs on the kids in their classroom. Nothing could be farther than the truth. But anything to sell papers, including appealing to the "Oooooo, a TEACHER did such and so, Ooooo, I'm tell-ing" devotees like you.

And you're "that guy", huh, the self-appointed Paul Revere of pervert teachers?

I'm sure the people who have to know about such things already know, dear.
