The Obama Administration will hire tens of thousands of health care professionals, union workers and community activists as “navigators” to help Americans choose Obamacare options. The “navigators” will be paid $20 to $48 per hour plus benefits.
The Washington Examiner reported, via I Own the World:
Tens of thousands of health care professionals, union workers and community activists hired as “navigators” to help Americans choose Obamacare options starting Oct. 1 could earn $20 an hour or more, according to new regulations issued Wednesday.
The 63-page rule covering navigators, drawn up by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, also said the government will provide free translators for those not fluent in English — no matter what their native language is.
“The proposed requirements would also include that such entities and individuals provide consumers with information and assistance in the consumer’s preferred language, at no cost to the consumer, which would include oral interpretation of non-English languages and the translation of written documents in non-English languages when necessary to ensure meaningful access,” said the regulations.
The rules also addressed conflict of interest and other potential issues that navigators could face as the public’s first stop on the Obamacare trail.
It is still not clear how many navigators will be required. California, however, provides a hint. It wants 21,000.
That could be an expensive proposition. The proposed rules, now open for public comment, suggest an estimated pay of $20-$48 an hour.
note also that in Californicate, the state is hiring similar wonderful people to “sign up” the rest of us for Obamacare....

I downloaded the packet to see what all is in it. There are a bunch of questions that an “insider” would instantly know the answer to and us “outsiders” would likely answer wrong, thus disqualifying ourselves.
I also noticed that a lot of the questions had to do with what voting district/representative you lived in. How could this possibly be appropriate to an application to work as a healthcare screener?
Still, I like the idea of tons of conservatives flooding them with applications. Maybe someone should form an informational group that would figure out and publish the process of navigating these forms.... LOL

While not being a conspiracy nut, I'm starting to believe this marxist is looking for any excuse to install martial law. He openly ignores the law of the land over and over and over again.
In my 63 years, I have never seen such an abuse of Executive power as I've seen in the last 4 1/2 years. And now our Congress let's him do it, with their non-result over-sight committees. Remember that Congress held Holder in Contempt - what did that amount to? Interestingly, Congress actually has a marshall-at-arms and police force to enforce their dictates. Did they do that? Rhetorical question.
Our great Republic that changed the world for the better is now over. But gotta say, what a great run we had. Glad to have grown up in the 50's and 60's (hippies notwithstanding) to enjoy all the freedoms I once had.
Take care of your families, finances and stock up. This will not end well. There may be no war of us against them, but THEY will take so much that you should be prepared, one way or another. Outta here, so the NSA personnel don't have to read too much. God forbid they actually have to work for our tax dollars.
