Would you support Sarah Palin should she decide to run for the presidency in 2016?

Let's see. How does she compare to my litmus checks:

What's not to like?

Oh, yeah. That thing about not reading newspapers and also seeing Russia from her house. That's just too dumb to be true. /s

Well, but she did resign from her office, so I guess that's one thing not to like. But they all have at least one thing not to like. How does she compare on all the major conservative issues?

And the left absolutely hates her.

And Tokyo Rove and the GOP-e absolutely despises her.

But tea party conservatives like her. A lot!

And so do I.

How about you?

Are you ready to turn this country around with an honest to God pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, God-loving, America-loving patriot and grassroots conservative favorite who we can all be proud of and for whom we will work overtime for a change?

please distinguish between the operating theory that leads them astray and their own core values and beliefs.

They have no core values and beliefs ~ but they do believe in a non-existent 'middle'.

The Republican party has a good number of coalition partners. We have the Socons, Defcons, Fiscons, RTLifers, Traditionalists, Old Americans (families with their origins here in the 1600 - 1800 period), Abolitionists ~ yup, we still exist and I know many others including people in the Chinese ladies clubs who ride herd on slavery among the foreign embassy people here in the DC area, pro-industrialists, pro-trade advocates, pro-interstate highway expansion folks and so forth.

Democrats also have factions plus they have a tradition where-in you need to climb the ladders in the coalition partner FIRST before you can climb the ladders of leadership inside the Democrat party. Their union affiliates are most famous for that.

The Republican operational structure is different with various levels of effort lodged in different economic or geographic regions. This, BTW, is where the GOP-e makes its biggest mistake. They forgot to bring the Socons into that structure ~ that results in the possibility of a swing vote of about 17 million people who can sit out any given election and just toss it. If their leadership elites had representation in the upper echelon of the party, that 17 million voters would be much more reliable.

The GOP-e is also in dispute with the Fiscons (aka TEAParty) and hasn't passed around the leadership positions. That's why the GOP-e has gotten into the position where a majority of Republicans think the GOP-e should be purged ~ and that's one way or the other. Their faction needs put down. It's lost more Presidential elections since 1936 than it's won!

Besides, we don't need them ~ where they gonna' go with their talent? The Democrats? BWahahahahaha

Yes, but she can’t win—she has been rendered Toxic by the MSM, Republicrats and Leftists out there. Tina Fey has rendered her a bimbo. She would get 40% of the vote BUt no more. A well funded Progressive woman would be placed against her. What should she do? Run for Senate from Alaska where they know her! She could win—do a term in the senate and there gain a power base. She good speeches here could open the door to the White House.

The Bible overrides Politics....The Country will change when MAN changes..

This is a Spiritual War not a human one...

Most definitely YES!, but I support Sarah right here - right now with whatever choice she sees fit to make regarding her future path. She may feel that she's able to be more effective as an articulate spokesman of Conservative principles than having to play politics with the rats and gop-e, (not that I have any doubts that she would be a most effective President and one well worthy of the job).

As Rush says, it's up to each and every one of us to counter the lies, slanders and contumely spewed by the regime's perfidious media mouthpieces. I, personally speak up to set the record straight whenever a low-information citizen parrots liberal twaddle. I'm sure all Freepers do so and thus form a potent counter to the fourth estate's fifth column. We've all got her back. Go Sarah!

That is not good. Not good at all.

You sound ridiculous. You are not going to support her if she was the Second Coming...

You have made it abundantly clear that nobody fits your criteria. Yet, she has made it abundantly clear how she feels about abortion and everything else. Your problem is not with her. It is more likely within your thought processes.

She loves God. She has a great track record of accomplishments. She is a conservative. She is a family woman. She is a clear speaker. She loves our country. She has been to the top and will still be the same person she has always been.

She has been pummeled by the press, and yet is still the single person who can make them all stand up and take notice. A single tweet from her or a single Facebook posting goes around the world faster than an SR-71...

April 27- Sarah Palin on Facebook

There’s no such thing as a coincidence. Today I’m looking forward to speaking at a pro-life women’s resource center in Nevada. I intend again to remind women that we are strong enough and capable enough to choose life and work together to create a culture that empowers everyone to live to the fullest. How ironic that on this same day President Obama will be headlining a gala event for the highly controversial and repeatedly discredited organization Planned Parenthood. He's the first sitting president to speak to them, but then again he’s also the first president who is so radically pro-abortion that as a state senator he refused three times to vote in favor of legislation that would simply provide medical attention to babies born alive from botched abortions. Considering the role Planned Parenthood has played in looking the other way while the mass murdering abortion doctor Gosnell butchered babies born alive from his horrific infanticide procedures and abused his women patients, it’s perhaps not surprising that this same president sees nothing wrong with allowing his name to be so openly associated with this organization.

Please take a look at the following excerpt from Jonah Goldberg’s book “Liberal Fascism” for information about the racist and eugenicist origins of Planned Parenthood, then ask yourself again why in the world our president would “bless” the cruel underlying efforts of an organization like this. Do you want him to spend your family’s hard earned tax dollars funding this culture of death? Surely there are people of good conscience within Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion centers who will feel the imperative within themselves to find other ways to help women in their time of need. There are so many better answers than merely eliminating the most precious, promising ingredient we have on earth – innocent human life. May efforts to cull the defenseless and vulnerable not be “blessed,” instead may God bless those who decide that respecting a culture of life in America is the only way to get us out of the mess we’re in.

- Sarah Palin

Even if we nuke the leadership, the infrastructure is mercenary. They are devoted to themselves at best. And who thinks that if by miracle Palin or someone like her were to be elected on a GOP ticket, and stripped them of their self given perks, they would not start sabotaging everything?

Then there is the name. “GOP/Republican” is a destroyed brand. Dems (through no fight against them) strapped everything from Racist to Kill Granny around their necks and the public now believes it.

It’s an albatross. Everything about it is a waste of resource. It needs to go away.

It’s just my opinion as a solid Palin supporter that she made her decision in 2012 after looking at the entire US political picture. She probably asked herself what good it would be to win an election and not have the level of congressional support to put her policies into action.

We only had DeMint in the Senate and poor prospects of Republicans taking the Senate in 2012. We now have several conservative senators at least partly because of Gov. Palin. We have a better chance in 2014 to take the Senate. We won’t be encumbered by a national ticket that won’t talk about Obamacare.

A 2016 conservative ticket will have coattails and give the new President their agenda.

The possibility that a President might have the ability to turn the country around morally and economically in 2016 will be a magnet to attract Palin to the race. She knows she’s the one that can do it and maybe the only one.

You know, under his cloths, he’s completely naked...and he goes out in public like that. Thus palin can never win. We must bring back Romney. A severe conservative! He’d never do that. And if you don’t agree you hate your country and puppies too.

Not really ~ first off the permanent bureucracy would exist anyway ~ and it's not as large as you imagine at the federal level. We are speaking mostly of the postal service and the military.

The policy making people are all appointed by the President. When Sarah appoints me to a job I can guarantee her that I'll destroy the coherency of that agency within 6 months ~ then I can return to going blind and thinking about political theory.

BTW, that's no idle boast.

Yes...Sarah Palin is all the great things you pointed out...That is why she does not need a *Doctor* Jesus came to the *Lost* those who are being deceived by False Prophets in the Church, in Politics, Education and Entertainment....

GOD will change this Nation not by who the President is, but by the *People* who live in a Nation that was *Blessed by GOD*

If more people stood up for Moral Values, Biblical Principles Obama would of been defeated on Day 1, but that is not the case... When more people support GAY Marriage than not, when Abortion and the Morning after Pill for 15 yr old’s are embraced... We are *Doomed*

You would have to R&R every person in the party infrastructure NATIONALLY vs putting a new structure together your way from day one. $$$ and time we have little of. You still need to deal with all the side deals/dealers, ‘culture’ etc of what you inherit.

My point is why? Why waste it all and still have the legacy of failure for your efforts? It makes zero sense. If this was a company, there would never be a new management team as no one would buy it to begin with.
MAYBE to sell off the assets, but the GOP has none.

Heart for the fight...
TRIED & TRUE
Wouldn’t work to weaken our defenses.
Has American family, I watched SP’s Alaska
Unlikely she’s a KGB sleeper...No ties to violent revolutionaries...
Would likely submit budgets.
Doesn’t play golf.
Her base may not let the Bolsheviki press take her down so easily next time...(let’s call it Flight 93 syndrome)
So what’s not to like?

In short, HELL YES!
