Last year Murdoch elevated his sons to prominent positions, James to co-COO and Lachlan to non-executive co-chairman, but the turnover of the conglomerate came sooner than expected. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has long been an outspoken opponent of the Affordable Care Act. One of her main concerns about the law had to do with its so-called “death panels,” which have been summarily dismissed by the left and it allies in the media — but which were just confirmed by the administration to in fact exist. Though “death panels” may be something of a misnomer, it specifically refers to the use of taxpayer funds for reimbursement of “end-of-life” care and counseling mandated by Obamacare, along with the inevitable healthcare rationing that will come about due to government...

Cardinal Robert Sarah, the highly respected prefect for the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments at the Vatican, appointed in 2014 by Pope Francis, has made it abundantly clear since last October’s Extraordinary Synod on the Family that any attempt to detach Catholic teaching from “pastoral practice” is a form of “heresy and a dangerous schizophrenic pathology.” Speaking on May 20 at the John Paul II Pontifical Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family in Rome, at the presentation of the Cantagalli book series "Family, Work in Progress", the cardinal sent a clear message to Cardinal...

Within a few weeks after the election of Pope Francis, rumors began to circulate in Rome that the new Pontiff would appoint Archbishop Piero Marini as prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship (CDW). For liberal liturgists, these rumors were cause for celebration; for conservatives, for despondency. It never happened. After many months of silence—during which time the rumors continued to swirl—the Pope announced that Cardinal Robert Sarah would be the new head of the CDW. Catholics who favor a reverent liturgy should rejoice at that appointment; the cardinal from Guinea is an excellent choice. Archbishop Marini—who was once private...

In that spirit, Monday’s appointment of Cardinal Robert Sarah of Guinea as the new head of the Vatican’s department for liturgical policy will certainly surprise some. When Pat Roberts faced a conservative primary challenge this summer, he did what most Republican senators have learned to do: turn hard right. On Thursday, the three-term Kansas senator turned to tea party darling Sarah Palin to rally voters behind his flagging campaign. The former Alaska governor praised Roberts for standing with Sen. Absolutely disgusting that the Obama administration would bring a SWAT team in full riot gear to a protest by those who put everything on the line for this country. Just goes to show what they think about us Americans on the right.

Sarah Palin's political action committee—simply named Sarah PAC—took in $460,537.83 so far this year, according to new filings with the Federal Election Commission. That sounds like a pretty big number! But when you look at how much the PAC has been spending, how it has been spending it, and the way things used to be, the picture looks far bleaker. First, the spending picture: In the first six months of 2013, Sarah PAC spent $496,505.68. That's $35,967.85 more than the PAC was able to raise. To be clear, Sarah PAC isn't in debt: In the latest filing, the PAC reports...

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin on Tuesday said that she is considering running for Senate in 2014. Appearing on Sean Hannity’s radio program, Palin also reiterated that she would consider supporting a third party if Republicans don’t return to their conservative roots (video courtesy MoFoPolitics) ~~snip~~ “I’m glad you brought that up,” she continued, “because Senator Mark Begich (D-Ak.) has got to be replaced. He has not done what he has promised to do for the people of Alaska.” For those wondering, Begich is up for re-election in 2014. “If you think that whoever is running doesn’t have the ability...

For the first time since the mid 1800s we hear today liberty voices rising from elected state officials including governors. But they're not in D.C.; instead they're in Kansas, Georgia, Michigan, Missouri and dozens of other states, making their own decisions on abortion, guns, constitutional law, ObamaCare, and practically everything. But no leader yet emerges, and no center. It is, like Pirandello’s play, with actors in search of a theater and a leader. Actually a leader is emerging: Sarah Palin. But new ideas need new forms to start again the conversation and bring in a new generation. For a fresh...

Wow! Governor Palin just posted the following on Facebook, along with a link to the article over at Breitbart that we posted last night:Please take a look at the article linked below to understand how the amnesty bill the Senate passed yesterday is a sad betrayal of working class Americans of every ethnicity who will see their wages lowered and their upward mobility lowered too. And yet we still do not have a secured border. This Senate-approved amnesty bill rewards lawbreakers and won’t solve any problems – as the CBO report notes that millions of more illegal immigrants will continue...
