Would you support Sarah Palin should she decide to run for the presidency in 2016?

Let's see. How does she compare to my litmus checks:

What's not to like?

Oh, yeah. That thing about not reading newspapers and also seeing Russia from her house. That's just too dumb to be true. /s

Well, but she did resign from her office, so I guess that's one thing not to like. But they all have at least one thing not to like. How does she compare on all the major conservative issues?

And the left absolutely hates her.

And Tokyo Rove and the GOP-e absolutely despises her.

But tea party conservatives like her. A lot!

And so do I.

How about you?

Are you ready to turn this country around with an honest to God pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, God-loving, America-loving patriot and grassroots conservative favorite who we can all be proud of and for whom we will work overtime for a change?

Absolutely, but first she needs to get her kids on board. I suspect Track and Willow weren't the last time. Track would receive flack for his brief marriage. Willow is through school so probably is in a stronger position this time. Bristol has shown she can take it and I have plenty of faith in Piper. Trig probably won't personally notice his own flack, but he will notice a change in his life style, which he may or may not tolerate well. And the family will certainly notice Trig related flack and has to be willing to take it. Any perceived negatives to him will be shouted against the parents. She has done plenty of traveling during his life, so hopefully he'd be ready for it. If her family is really on board she can take the worst the left and the GOP-e can throw at her.

If she wants to run and can line up her family for it then I agree she should come in early. Not necessarily earliest ever - historically someone had probably already started by this time - but early enough to minimize the field of conservative wannabees. Come in early enough and big enough to produce a series of voices on the right saying "I was thinking about running, but am endorsing her instead." Let the GOP-e have the divided field instead. And if the Democrats try to run Hillary make her look old and tired out by comparison.

I do not think she is as “Pro-family” as many think. For instance, she has not been known to oppose the repeal of DADT or the homosexual agenda. I fear she is too “libertarain” on many moral issues, and I have no use for libertarians. Also, I don’t think she is absolutely “pro-life.” She is of the mindset that she is against abortion personnally, but would not hold others to that....also a ridiculous libertarian mindset which I cannot abide.

Now all that being said, she is BETTER than anything else that is out there right now. So, I would gladly support her, knowing she is going to let me down on some social/morale issues. Ronald Reagan let me down, and I still think he is one of the best of former presidents. Sarah could make that list as well.

Certainly. I’ll also do what I can to protect her from what will be the most strident, vicious hate campaign in the history of corrupt journalism.

... as a lifelong Republican voter, I truly lost all trust, faith, and respect in the Party, due to all this. I’ll go to the mat for Palin. But the GOP and one of their worthless RINO’s? No way in hell.

I'm there!

but we would have to defend her decision to resign.

WHAT?? Did you feel the need to defend the pope's, also?

In the forums the lefties hang out at?

I see now where the mindset comes from.

Your 'fear of man' is amazing. A leader you are not.

"Big Deal, Obama's dad was a communist from Kenya."

I would not place any bets with that thinking. The Left will pull out one of their Communist judges and go after Senator Cruz's natural born citizenship in a heartbeat. It will not be the first time the Left attacked a conservative while turning a blind eye to one of their own.

Actually I used to worry about all the hate generated from the left. But with a well done campaign we can use the hate to make her even stronger. We could literally scare the left with the amount of hate they will generate. Done right it will help them do what they do best; self-destruct.

I hope she does run and since this is a new rodeo she know the press and takes a Newt Gingrich style to deal with them!
Only by puttin \g them in their place will she have a chance in hell!
If it’s head to head with Hitlery I do not see how the voter can vote for the Piginapantsuit after Benghazi! As a matter of fact I do not see how she can still have any support other than blind admiration for who she once was. She has lost all creditbility in my book as a potential Leader of the free world! If you cannot protect your own, who is next to be stabbed in the back.

I have no idea at the present time. I know who I'd like, but he may not qualify under the natural born clause in the Constitution. So, I'll just hold my fire till I see what develops.

“Ted Cruz’s father was born in Cuba.”

I won’t argue about this. His mother was then and still is an American and he was a natural born citizen due to his mother. He did not have to become a nturalized American citizen as he was an American citizen when he was born - his allegiance has always been to America, not any other country.

Sarah is without doubt smart but sometimes a bit shrill. Her delivery has been improving. She has a great heart and mind for patriotism but needs to write her intellectual talents into her delivery.

Now you went and did it. You have committed the unpardonable sin of opining that Sarah Palin needs to improve on anything. You have dared to utter the blasphemy that she is not pure perfection. Hope your fire insurance is paid up.
