Retired Army officer warns DHS stockpiling for war against American citizens

A retired Army officer wrote to a U.S. senator Saturday about his concern that the Department of Homeland Security is preparing to arm itself against the people of the United States.

Retired Capt. Terry Michael Hestilow posted his letter to Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, on his Facebook page, noting that Homeland Security has made a number of large ammunition, weapon and light-armored vehicle purchases recently and has refused to answer questions about them.

Hestilow begins by noting the large ammunition, weapon and light armored vehicle purchases recently made by DHS, as well as that agency’s refusal to answer any questions regarding those purchases.

Can't remember where I read it, but there was something floating around the internet about the EPA getting ready to declare ammunition an "environmental hazard" as a precursor to banning all lead ammunition.

So I think there may be some truth to the DHS stockpiling enough ammunition to kill every man, woman and child living in America five times as they get ready to shut down the ammunition plants.....

Maybe they will use all the equipment to storm terrorist training centers within our borders?? Subdue local uprisings where cities are taken over by outside elements who apply their own laws?? If they want your weapons all they have to do is write a law against possession and place a $100.000 fine for each weapon not turned in. IIRC correctly they bought handgun ammo. Here in a rural area, the closest Walmarts still have plenty of .270, .308 and .30-06 ammo. The handgun ammo and the poodle shooter small arms stuff may keep the city folk pacified. In the rest of the country, it’s a different story. Locally the shots hunters make taking a deer should scare bureaucrats shitless.

The U.S. military fought in South East Asia for ten years with everything at its disposal and what did it get us?

We court in Iraq and Afghanistan for How long and what did it get us?

These politicians fail to learn the lessons of history that you cannot win a guerrilla war when the populace sides with the guerrillas.

If I were DHS I would keep that in mind before they do something to start a revolution in this country.

How many Americans have ever heard of the HSI, "Homeland Security Investigations," buried within the DHS supposedly "under" ICE? How many have heard of their paramilitary strike force, the SRT?

These SRT guys are NOT being trained for hostage rescue, these are assault vehicles. Five SRT troopers ride on each running board as they smash across fences right up to the building they are assaulting. Swing-out armor "wings" protect the assault troops on each side from the front. Snipers behind them and above them protect them. They are not coming to "rescue" anybody. They are training for assault missions. The heads of the DHS have already stated that they don't think civilians should be able to own semi-auto carbines.

Connect the dots. If and when any classes of weapons are outlawed, the SRT is the strike force that will be coming to confiscate them.

To date, DHS has been unwilling to provide to you, the elected representatives of the People, justification for recent purchases of almost 3,000 mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) armored personnel carriers, 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition (with associated weapons), and other weapons systems, when, in fact, the DHS has no war mission or war making authority within the limits of the United States of America.

Captain, it's to protect the illegal aliens, all the Muslims and the tens of millions of other foreigners the government dumps on and continues to dump on the U.S.

Why has the U.S. Government turned the U.S. into an immigration dumping ground?

Close. It begins when the EPA an DHS shutter all remaining means of natural resource harvesting, and move all those rural folk into pre-approved and bounded cities.

In one colossal stroke all of us unwashed and hapless riffraff will be completely dependent on the Federal Government for food and living spaces. It is for our own good, you know. We can then relax in our newly formed completely secure, environmentally friendly areas.

All those rounds, vehicles and so on are just to keep good order and prevent any uppity, gun totting, right winger, nut jobs from interfering with public safety and national security - now given new meaning.

Ignore that buzzing from overhead, it is just our good friends at DHS keeping a wary eye out for any disturbances.

Our local ammo store one of many has full stocks of big game calibers such as the Ultramags in .30 caliber, .338 and .375.

I have shot a .338win mag 4 times in quick succession, it was a bone bruiser, but years ago that very same caliber was shot at the Alaska pipeline, put a hole in it and shut it down.

So basically hunters in Alaska have already calibers that will defeat light vehicle armor.

Somewhere in the Obama administration there is concern about large scale armed rebellion against the government. What actions they are planning that they think might trigger such a rebellion is the question. Clearly there is a desire to disarm the American public by what ever means possible. However, there are equally as sinister other possibilities including an Obama coup to overthrow the republic and make him dictator. Arming DHS goon squads to quell a popular uprising makes sense if you believe that local law enforcement or the US military would likely not fire on US citizens.
