I happen to like Cardinal Dolan very much, but I want a Rudy Giuliani-type bishop who is not afraid to call out the pseudo-catholics like Cuomo and the Kennedys. There is a time to turn the other cheek, and then there is a time to kick ass and stand up to thugs and evil.

Cuomo is not a Catholic... In fact, anybody can say they are, but it doesn’t make it so.
Cuomo the clown is so worried about the children when it comes to guns, yet with the stroke of his pen, his assault on unborn children will create more carnage than a gun could ever do. He is a very vile human being!

Like father, like son. Mario Cuomo was a key figure in the early abortion years. He was responsible for the phrase used by lying politicians ever since: “I’m personally opposed, but. . . .”
Mario Cuomo went a little too far, and was kicked out of officer. But the liberals and Dem voters have changed a since then, so you don’t hear “I’m personally opposed, but” as often as you used to, in states like New York.
If the Governor of New York, ostensibly one who claims to be a Catholic, actually proposes or endorses such a barbaric law, then Cardinal Dolan will be forced to take definitive action. He must formally excommunicates Mr. Cuomo. Every bishop has a duty to instruct the laity and excommunicate those individuals who defy and knowingly violate church teachings. Its doubtful that Mr.Cuomo would care, but if Cardinal Dolan allows Mr.Cuomo to remain a Catholic and publicly receive the sacraments, then Dolan will have grievously failed the laity and his office. The Catholic hierarchy for forty years has been ruinously timid in these situations. That timidity has confused the laity ,hurt the Church and has resulted in more abortions.
The RCC will always do what they have done: Roll over and act like lapdogs.
