Then i guess we can save a ton of money in these tough economic times by pulling them from banks, airports, the president, Congress, other government buildings, etc - right? Used to live in Fairfax County, VA, which has become a liberal stronghold thanks to all the government employees and contractors in the area. Amazing that there is a security force already assigned to schools yet someone would object to at least one of them being armed. Allowing at least one guard or other qualified employee, preferably with a concealed weapon, makes excellent sense to me. Keep the gun out of sight and what child is going to be harmed by its’ presence? Seems to me the potential benefit far outweighs political objections.
