” Well, we’ve got McCain, Graham, Rubio, Bush (any and all of them) crying their little eyes out for amnesty. “

Yep

” Praying the tea party rises to the occasion.”

Exactly.

no they don;t,

I see you’re new on here but dont say what state you are in but then again you also say about hispanics.

Well I travel a lot in my states for boxing, and that state is FL.
Most hispanics do like Rubio and when I;ve asked them about voting for him they have said they would.

Of course the left will say anything and go after him now as they know he poses a threat to them even when they do massive rigging of an election

You are wrong.

“Natural Born Citizen” has always meant that you became a citizen at the very moment of birth.

Congres has the power to determine some issues on this matter, under our Constitution. James Madison, Father of the Constituion, even said as much. Also, the 14th Amendment applies as well.

We have two forms of citizenship in the United States:

1.) Natural Born
2.) Naturalized

PERIOD!

You have absolutely no legal basis to claim otherwise. While the rules on how to obtain citizenship at birth have changed over time, the meaning of “Natural Born Citizen” has remained the same:

Those who become citizens at the moment of birth, based on the laws on the books at that time, are Natural Born Citizens.

You have no legal authority at all on your side who disagrees with me.

“It appears his parents were not naturalized yet at that point.”

I will certainly take your word for it.

The point is, his parents were not U.S. citizens at the time if of his birth.

Dude, 3.5 million registered republicans did not vote. Our election was stolen. No doubt. The gop must start looking at reality and telling the truth no matter how UN-PC the truth is. I agree 100%.

Mexicans of European ancestry, highly educated and learned of Western Civilization... are not crossing our borders illegally. Those that are... are by and large, uneducated masses that are starving in their third world sewer pit and come here for marxist redistribution gifts from satan’s party.

Even if we don’t win many votes, we have to campaign in some urban areas. It’s the decent thing to do: ask people to vote for you. Whether or not that would have done the trick this time out, it’d be good in 2012. Plus, when you’re in a district that voted 100 percent for Obama, see if you find a local who will come forward and say he voted Republican this year. Stealing votes is very bad, you know. Corruption, crime, bad schools,no fathers, neighborhoods falling apart, nobody should have to have to put up with that stuff just because the color of their skin means their vote is taken for granted or even stolen.

Nope. His parents came from Cuba legally and got “permanent residence” here, and did not get their citizenship until 4 years after Mario was born. He was not born to two US citizens, though he was born in the USA.

You may have missed the discussions here about Obama, how he was not born to two US citizens and was ineligible for the presidency, but it was a hot topic.

Mitt Romney’s dad was born in Mexico but became a citizen before Mitt was born, so he was a natural born citizen.

Doesn’t seem to be the case.

President Reagan gave us amnesty and the illegals (all of them as not just Mexicans come here as illegals) did not start voting Republicans.

Rush was speaking about this last week.

Give us the name of one living American who is a recognized expert and agrees with you?

You have nothing.

You have nobody.

You promote crack pot garbage and will not listen to reason.

No judge, no elected official, no member of Congress, no Governor, no immigration attorney in the entire country thinks that you are correct.

At the very least, you lack humility and common sense. Any normal, rational person would wonder, “Why don't the experts agree with me?”

But, no, you are oblivious to the truth.

Citizen does not equal natural born citizen.

Never has, never will.

There has always been a distinction, and the Supreme Court has mentioned exactly that in Minor.

You cannot have divided loyalties at birth, that is why the term “natural born” was inserted in Article II, Section 8 at the behest of John Jay.

A citizen can be Senator or Congressman.

The natural born requirement is not there for those two offices.

But only a natural born citizen can be President or Vice President.

The 14th Amendment is the only thing that gives Rubio American citizenship. But because his parents were both citizens of another country at the time of his birth, at birth he was at best a dual-citizen.

A dual citizen is not natural born. Were Rubio’s parents citizens at the time of his birth or were they naturalized at some later date? If Rubio’s parents were subject to another jurisdiction, i.e. Cuba, what did that make their son at the time of his birth?

Also, there is no law Congress can make which trumps the Constitution. The Constitution can only be changed by Amendment. Nor did the 14th Amendment change the meaning of Article II, Section 8. In fact, the writers of the 14th Amendment would never agree with your interpretation at all.
Please cite where those who wrote the 14th Amendment ever considered those given citizenship as a result of the 14th Amendment to be equal to natural born citizenship. Did the writers of the 14th Amendment believe in anchor babies?

Natural born had a legal meaning at the time of the writing of the Constitution, just as the term “letters of marque” did. Neither are defined in the Constitution, as the Constitution is not a dictionary.

The point has never been tested legally at the Presidential level. So, your whole meme of no one on earth agreeing with anything but your position is so much hot air.

Questions for you.

Question 1. If a child is born to two Americans while they are living overseas, is that child an American Citizen?

Question 2. If a child is born to two Cubans while they are living overseas, is that child a Cuban citizen?

Curious about your take on this.

http://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/88/162/case.html

“The Constitution does not in words say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners.”

“Under the power to adopt a uniform system of naturalization, Congress, as early as 1790, provided “that any alien, being a free white person,” might be admitted as a citizen of the United States, and that the children of such persons so naturalized, dwelling within the United States, being under twenty-one years of age at the time of such naturalization, should also be considered citizens of the United States, and that the children of citizens of the United States that might be born beyond the sea, or out of the limits of the United States, should be considered as natural-born citizens. These provisions thus enacted have in substance been retained in all the naturalization laws adopted since. In 1855, however, the last provision was somewhat extended, and all persons theretofore born or thereafter to be born out of the limits of the jurisdiction of the United States, whose fathers were or should be at the time of their birth citizens of the United States were declared to be citizens also.”

“If only he were a natural born citizen!”

Said Emerich de Vattel, a Swiss citizen, writing in French years BEFORE the formation of the US, about laws in Switzerland.

He went on to say other countries held different views.

In our next edition, we explain why man will never be able to fly.

Yep, the story on the Blaze today said there is no real evidence of fraud. I guess the pictures of the Somalis bussed into the polls is not evidence.

My old neighbors, and now friends, are immigrants form Soviet era Poland. They always tell us stories of the lies of the government and how everyone knew they were completely just lies. Silly stupid lies. Example, every year they had blanket drives for the suffering children of the United States who were freezing on the streets. They said, "here we were with nothing, not two nickels to rub together and we were forced to give blankets for a cause that was a complete lie...but what could you do?"

I feel like that is nearly where we are at, except many still have not figured out it's all BS yet. But, they will. It may be too late but they'll eventually get to that place the Poles were at.

I do not beleive for one minute that we lost because we did not get enough votes, I believe after going after these results for the last week that they did not get enough votes for them to win fairly.

It was fraud and corruption and we should all fight to stop it and that starts by making calls to my Gov here in FL.
I see this every election how those handful of Dem counties rob elections and never once does our side do anything, yes I and others here how people will fight to stop it but in the end they do nothing.

We don;t start going after the media and the left for their corruption then we;re screwed.

Agree about who comes here as hispanics but we also get a good lot from Africa and Asia who seem to be just the same as what you pointed out.
Handouts, welfare freebies etc. That is not what America was founded on or what made her great.

I know a few Hispanics here in FL who are from Bolivia, Venezula, [sp] Dominican , Argentina and Uruguay and all have something in common, they;re white, they’re educated and they have good jobs and money, .
That is who we should bring here.

Australia has a points system and that changes when the country needs say more nurses or more mechanics etc.
Say you need 15 points, so you get 5 points for that education and experience, 5 points where you are from or family in the country, two points for being not a criminal, 3 points for having money to set up by yourself.
I’m sure you get what I’m trying to say.

Why not us do the same.

I know about immigration because I went through it.
Legals have to go home, go to a consulate, apply, wait, pay, interview, etc.

Why can;t we just say, the same to illegals.
Go home, consulate, apply, wait, pay interview and then see if they’;re accepted based on past, education, jobs, family etc.
If they are they are then met at the border or airports, told to meet up at certain places like a stadium and then told what America is about, hard work etc.

If those who do not go home are still here in 6 months and are caught they are kicked out, and never to be let in again for 3 years first offense.

That is how we do it with legals plus we get rid of many illegals who go home waiting to apply and then they have a path to being legal or not but all interviews are done in English, all papers done in English etc.

If we keep letting in third world immigrants from around the world not just south or central America thne we too will become a third world country, well our elections are right now

Questions for you.

Question 1. If a child is born to two Americans while they are living overseas, is that child an American Citizen?

Question 2. If a child is born to two Cubans while they are living overseas, is that child a Cuban citizen?

Curious about your take on this.”

I suggest you go to any US Post Office, or to the Department of State web page and look for an application for a US Passport.

Such application process will ask you if you are a US Citizen, and by which basis you claim said citizenship, and such rules which have applied, at various times, over the last 100 or so years.

It is entirely possible to be a “Natural Born Citizen” or Citizen at birth if born on foreign soil to US Citizen Parents as long as they met the requirements of age and residency prior to said birth.

2.) It is for Cuba, and Cuba alone, to determine who is a Cuban citizen.

That was my point... mexicans come here for free stuff supplied by those that only ask for their vote in return... they gain the world if they break our laws. They are rewarded for illegal acts... they are by definition... invading enemies.
