IMHO I think Romneys going in totally on only the Economy and Ignoring such Issues as Fast and Furious is a Losing Strategy.
You are dealing with the most Radical America Hating Individuals this country has ever seen, they Have NO shame or Scruples, and as the old adage goes, Figures dont lie but Liars sure can figure. Obama and his Cohorts such as Bill Clinton, now going on the Campaign Trail for the Liar in Chief, will twist every statement and figure to their advantage. Add to that the fact, like it or not,the MORONS in this country love the Impeached, perjuring Womanizer and accused Rapist,as well as The Kenyan More than Romney,so couple all that with an Adoring Media covering your lies and either doubling down on them or just ignoring rebuttles and you are going to Lose.
The least Romney could have tried to make Obama explain how thousands of automatic Weapons were shipped From American Gun Shops across the Border to the Most Barbaric Drug Cartels, where they ended up being used to Slaughter Mexicans as well as American Border agents.
How does Obama get away with his Attorney General ,whose agencies he Runs, were in Charge of this and he is Held in Contempt of Congress and as Yet has Not turned over the Papers Congress has Requested?
Holder has said he found out about this by seeing it on the News or reading about it in the Newspaper, and Obama did not know anything about it? At Least FORCE him in front of the American People offer LAME excuses!
Let me Answer my own question, He gets away with it because we are either being played for Suckers and The fix is in for Obama to win,Romney does not want to win,or he just does not want to admit to himself who these Radicals are that he is running against.
Myself I dont think he is that dumb,he is just Afraid to do what must be done, to expose Obama as the Radical America hating Individual he is. Never the less, either reason spells defeat for the entire Country and a Horrible Future.
“In the interim however, until whites start voting as a block, which I believe they will do by the 2030s, the GOP will struggle.”
I have said as much in earlier posts, from some time back. Be careful, if you express this point of view too eloquently, you may be branded as bein’ racis’
But it’s the truth. For Republicans to think that they’ll ever win more than 30+% of “the Hispanic vote” on a regular basis is well fantasy. They have as much chance of achieving that in the coming decades as they have of winning the black vote, or the Jewish vote.
Republicans’ only chance — and also the only chance of Euro Americans — is to wise up and comprehend that in a Balkanized nation, their only hope is to develop an “ethnic group awareness” of their own (as all the other ethnic groups already have). This may fly in the face of the raisin’ of many here, but it will require voting together “as an ethnic block” to counter the growing influence and power of non-Euros who seem to share few of the cultural values and mores that have been “traditionally American” from the Euro viewpoint.
To deny this as an effective strategy to deal with an increasingly-Balkanized country, is to walk the pathway to defeat. It is the road to the “post-American nation” suggested by the title of that book that Obama was seen carrying on the runway tarmac.
You’re comparison to the strategy of whites in South Africa was a good one. We ignore the lessons there (and in neighboring Rhodesia) at our own peril or, more correctly, at the peril of generations of our children to come.
Kudos for an excellent post.
Romney inspires zero confidence so far . I’ll vote for him but he really is running a sad campaign so far.
What you and I want and what works for independents are two different things.
We al will suffer. I have enough guns ammo, etc. I have been buying silver bullion like crazy. Maples, Eagles, etc.
This pyscho gets reelected ad we are heading to hyperinflation.
Thanks for the response. I’m not given to Biblical prophecy predictions—in fact, dislike them intensely—but . . . I fear you’re right. If Obama wins, we are in for hard times.
Thing is no one watched Clinton right? I guess positive media coverage after the fact may have helped.
People did tune in to see the Fuhrer and Lady McBeth. As disgusting as we find them and as lacklaster as Obama’s speech was purported to be it’s entirely possible that the soft-headed swing voters received them favorably (I guess they did, how else to explain the bump). I think it’s an emotional connection thing, which explains why Romney did not get a bounce (Dick Morris being wrong in predicting he would and Obama wouldn’t).
Hopefully it will wear off soon.
I caught 2 minutes of something on Fox with a panel (Fox democrat Pat Caddell, GOP crank John LeBoutliier) and they were doom and glooming “Why is Obama doing so well in Ohio?” (by leading within the MOE??) and the host asked “Should Romney GIVE UP on the state???”. That’s a clown question bro. At that point I turned the channel.
And then there’s the “Republican” who bear hugged Obama in an obviously staged stunt (the lack of secret service bullets in his back a dead giveaway).
Obama’s trying to win on the personal likability that I never saw in him.
Was it Charlie Crist? (LOL!!!)
...as lackluster as Obamas speech was purported to be...
Last night on Hannity, they did a split screen, with tiny segments of Zero's 2008 speech alternating with those of his 2012 speech to show how the same words and phrases were used in both. Conclusion: same old, same old ...
People want to like the president, they respect the office, and especially those who voted for him do not want to admit to themselves and others that they were fools.
So in that way, Obama benefits.
Anecdotal, but two young adults I know who voted for Obama are not happy at all now. One claims he’s just not going to vote (because he can’t bring himself to vote for a Republican) and the other is less than 100% she’ll vote for Obama this time around (probably will, but the lack of enthusiasm is palpable).
The thrill and tingle are definitely waning or gone altogether.
