No governing body in "our" Government can infringe, diminish, break in upon, or restrict any of our Rights as explicitly listed in the Bill of Rights. Not at any level as they are bound, from dog catcher to SCOTUS Judge, by Art 6 Para 2, and the 10th and 14th Amendments.
No. In "our" Government, our Supreme Court doesn't re-write legislation, it merely ensures that those cases coming before it match the Constitutions limits and nothing more.
What we have now is some quasi-Socialist mishmash with a ton of wishful thinking holding it together under a thin veneer of aged and weather cheap plywood.

For years I’ve been defending Americans supposed lack of “irony” to my British friends. Not today! Sarah always uses irony and its poor cousin, sarcasm, in her posts. Get with it.
It’s not working for us .... but it IS the problem because WE the sheeple continue to elect these b@stards & all they care about is getting re-elected while they stick it to us right & left. The least we could do is keep our side of the aisle clean and the latest debacle with GOP-e and no conservative candidate shows exactly how deep in the quicksand we’ve gotten. I don’t know the answer other than to quit re-electing people who don’t truly represent us and I also think that every single person who wants to keep the country as the Founders envisioned has to be “all-in”, as they were.

I don’t know if you keep up with the Ulsterman Report and his White House Insider, but the WHI said pretty much the same thing as Sarah Palin—politically, this is excellent for us and makes Obama’s life VERY difficult over the next few months.
With Sarah, I do believe it is instinctual, it is in her core beliefs otherwise she wouldn’t be on the right side of issues as much as she is. That’s why the left/elites despise her and why I love her politics.
