Does Alex Trebek owe Republicans equal time on his Jeopardy! game show? Answer: Yes, the show has become overrun by Democratic politicians and is only going to get even more politically imbalanced in the days to come.
Last week and this week, the popular game show, in which contestants are given clues and must provide the answer in the form of a question, has been presenting its annual "Teen Tournament" shows with young Americans as contestants -- and First Lady Michelle Obama presenting some of the clues. The show is being broadcast from Washington DC during the Teen Tournament.
On Monday last week, the show had an entire category of questions, entitled "American Grown" and focusing on healthy eating, with Michelle Obama giving the clues via pre-recorded video. Some of the clues were about legislation her husband had signed into law. Show producers also gave the First Lade time between rounds to promote her book.
Wednesday, the show featured pre-recorded clues by Vice President Joe Biden in the category "Cars in American History," which included a question about the car company bailouts. Between rounds, the show presented a video of Biden promoting President Obama's policy to raise the fuel efficiency standards for new cars to an average of 54 miles per gallon.

Is it a matter of Trebek flooding the show with Democrats, or with Democrats flooding the show with requests to be actors on it?
Perhaps Republicans should start a mail campaign on Trebek.

Time to complain to the FCC until Jeopardy! invites real conservative leaders on the show as contestants and presenters.
Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin, Palin and Gingrich should all be on the show.
Everything on TV leans left. I hate it, but that’s the way it is.
The sucking up is PATHETIC.
I am beginning to hope that ALL of them go absolutely dysfunctional if their little deity gets routed in the election.
I want to see them screeching and crying, babbling, cursing with rolling on the floor tantrums.
I want them to believe the world is not ending but that it HAS ENDED.

The week of May 14, Jeopardy airs their DC Power Players with Chris Matthews, Tom Friedman, Robert Gibbs, Anderson Cooper, Louis Black and other libs. The only Republican I recognize is Dana Perino.
Trebek is a Canadian. Nuff said.
I have long noticed a bit of liberal bias but then again, Jeopardy might be less guilty than most TV shows.
Typically any show on television or movies portray White males as the bad guys. Women and especially minority women ar always seen as the very best.
Why am I even saying this, everyone on this discussion forum already knows it.
I used to watch “Smallville” until it got unwatchable the last few season. It was almost amusing to see nearly every person of authority or respect such as Dr.s, Higher up cops, scientists, judges, etc. are portrayed as Black, very often as Black females. Sometimes they do let a few White females in on the fun.
Give it a rest.

The Media handlers are trying to make Obama “popular” again.
It’s not cool anymore to be an Obama worshipper, and these people think they can change that.
The category could be The US Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and historical facts.
I’d love to see him as a contestant on Are you Smarter than a Fifth Grader answering 1st grade US History questions.

Trebek has always struck me as slightly conservative tho I would not bet on it.
I have a friend who is very liberal and he likes Jeopardy. In fact he has tried out for it several times. He pointed out something to me which I had not noticed but since then it is clear that he is right.
He said they like to put two (or three) women on together when there is a woman contestant. Often there will be 3 men but seldom two men and one woman.
Perhaps Republicans should start a mail campaign on Trebek. ....yep. Republicans watch the show too. If they're smart, they'll present both sides.

Watched the show for the first time in AGES last night while waiting at the OKC airport. Turns out it’s Teen Week - and last evening someone from my son’s high school was one of the contestants.
Anyway - two guys and a gal!

Jeopardy is one of the few shows I watch nearly every day. This week is the Teen tournament. The ones appearing are decided by previous performance unlike regular shows.
This guy told me about the two girls rule, actually not a total rule but pretty close, around 1988. Since then I have been noticing and it is definitely true. You will very seldom see a lone girl.
