I agree. That is why I am opposed to saying we can't win or spending any time trashing Romney. If Obama wins after what he has done and given how he is running for re-election then his second term will be far worse than his first.

I believe that is what Americans want....as a whole...and the majority... We have 'two socialists' running against each other while holding hands with both parties...and scamming the people out of every dime and nichol to further their shared agenda.

I cannot see this nation doing more now then going down the socialist road full bore...under either of them... What's to stop it?... they all just broke thru every gate and past every barrier we set up to even have a chance to stop them andd they are full speed ahead now.

As I understand it, the process starts at the Precinct Committeeman level, where you go door to door and urge your neighbors to support your candidate. You and your fellow campaigners can select a different candidate from the one that the Republican Party Machine is endorsing. I’ve heard that’s the way to pack the ballot with real conservatives instead of electable moderates. Now why don’t I get off my butt and go volunteer to be a Precinct Committeeman? I really can’t answer that because I don’t know.

Agreed. Obama plus a Democrat Congress passed 2 decades worth of govt expanding liberalism in 2 years (Obamacare etc). Obama plus GOP House gave us backbiting galore and multiple near meltdowns, and a complete failure on the budget.

So whatever Congress Obama has to help him or stop him, it will be ..... very difficult.

I can’t vote for Romney no matter how much the RINOstream media whoops it up against Obama.

I’d be voting for Romney based on fear and resentment.

I’m not going that way but I am going to support conservative candidates and causes in the months ahead starting with the defense of Scott Walker in Wisconsin.

I will also support the congressional candidacy of Keith Rothfus in the 12th District of Pennsylvania.

Rothfus is taking on former John Murtha aide Mark Critz who currently holds the seat.

However, the wounds are deep and the scars will be permanent in that so many long-time posters are now gone. Posters with sign-up dates of 1998, even 1997, have been culled from the herd. Some have been among the most insightful posters FR ever had and perhaps ever will.

In my view, the most harmful participants are those who gang up and encircle a person, drive them to the ground and then claim they failed the purity test of the moment. All while professing to speak on behalf of the owner.

And then what do they do? They send sappy, glittering pictures to one another with expressions of friendship.

Hello dear friend!!!! very well expressed. The hit gang is relatively very small in number but has been effective in making it unpleasant to participate. Purity test of Moment.. excellent choice of terms and it has been very disheartening to observe over the past years.

I know many are actively posting at other forums and some just have dropped out of the cyber picture completely. You just do NOT verbally and emotionally beat up people without ramifications, not only to that person but to the observers.
