They used to try this in Illinois, every couple years a bill to ban cop killing ammunition, aka 1000 fp at the muzzle or greater, aka virtually all long guns.

These kinds of people must her be allowed to ever have as much power as a crossing guard, ever again.

Most people had knives and swords back then when it was written. Faster to use on multiple attackers then.

That’s not a good analogy....the right to own and drive cars is not guaranteed by the Constitution.

Better analogy is the state allowing you to buy a car, but outlawing gasoline.

You’ll put your eye out kid...

We need to put signs on our state borders: “This is Texas, libtards need not apply (we’ve already got enough of them).”

or a sign saying no more libtards, we don’t have enough rope to hang them all.

As an uber-conservative escapee from the Rotten Apple that gave birth to 3 Christian Conservative Texans, I understand your desire to keep the Yankees out. I don't want them either.

Who would I welcome with open arms? The folks like myself that looked around and said, "There has GOT to be something better than this hell hole. We're been outnumbered here for years and are constantly shouted down. Greener pastures, here we come!"

We specifically CHOSE Texas BECAUSE it was a Conservative State. I openly admit we retreated; but then we turned around, retrenched, and reloaded!

It’s becoming very stylish to be a scofflaw!!

Come to think of it, I think Ayn Rand said, "the more laws you make, the more criminals you make."

The measure actually opens the door to a sweeping ammunition ban by an unelected public official by executive fiat.

The world would be a better place if they were run over by a Fiat, preferably a 1982 Strada. B-) B-P

Don't forget, NJ gave us Frank Lautenberg, he's so old, he farts dust. B-P

The Civil War happened too early; 150 years later and Washngton DC would have fallen in a week.

Surround the place, cut off all electricity and they will cry "Uncle" in a week.

This is so asinine but I am of the belief that if this law would pass, then it should apply equally to the police and military, if we cannot have ammo, neither should the police, the NJ National Guard (including the Air National Guard) or active military in that state and any Federal agencies come into the State must turn their ammo in, including the Secret Service. If we have to follow the law, then they should too, top to bottom, everyone is equal.

I know this sounds absurd but if the people cannot have the tools for defense, then no one should. I know I'm using the Rush Limbaugh tactic of illustrating absurdity with more absurdity.

Even so, when the sword was banned in Japan, except for the Samurai, the people themselves improvised weapons from common farm and fishing tools like modifying flails and making nanchaku (numchucks) for example as well as coming up with karate. You can kill with bare hands, shall we ban hands too? Oops, better not give them ideas.

This chick making this law, she is so stupid, too stupid to live. If she got any dumber, she'd be in a coma. I know I leave these things to God to decide for Himself, but I feel I'm entitled to my opinion here, there are days I think when I see crap like this, time to thin out the herd.

If my maternal grandfather was her now, he was born in 1901, he always said, "some people just need a swift kick in the a--, er butt."

“Surround the place, cut off all electricity and they will cry “Uncle” in a week.”

The disarmed subjects certainly can’t fight their way out.

The civil war was fought for the wrong reasons. We need another revolutionary war, not a civil war.

Ammunition is arms and is protected.

Gun protesters are not people, not subject to the law and thus can be exterminated.

If Washington could have known it would come to this...

"That's New Jersey over there? Turn the boat around and leave it to the Hessians..."
