Great quote.

Need to slam their Facebook with this Romney quote so hopefully somebody sees it.

"The Establisment GOP is whomover wins the election."

Well, SORTA.

The Establishment GOP is the folks who won the last POTUS election, minus the POTUS (Rove and crew) PLUS the political cadre of the entrenched GOP Senate.

Throw in a few dedicated "journalists" and you have a fairly good executive council.

Romney is bombing Florida with advertising. Newt has money but can’t match Romney. It will jolt the GOP establishment if Newt prevails in Fl and I think he will

I hope to God that Santorum hangs in the race. I think that Newt is a disaster. With all the negatives about this guy politically and personally, I don’t think that he will survive. I understand the desire to hope against hope that the Romney establishment gets a swift kick in the teeth, but I think that this guy is someone who talks a good game, but there is too much charlatan and progressive in him for me. I don’t trust him. He DID support the concept of cap and trade, and he DID NOT help develop supply-side economics. He helped with its implementation, to his credit.
My friend and I had virtually nothing good to say about Newt as Speaker, after the first hundred days. He was continually stabbing conservatives in the back. It was a long time ago, but my negative feelings toward him linger. Not a Newt, Bob

Now, I know that you don’t think that Rick wears a self-assigned halo on his head, b/c that would make you a fool. He speaks up for righteousness and Constitutional principles, but Rick knows well that he is a flawed character, as are we all. Of course, you know that. Bob

Santorum has lost his best hope to Newt in SC.

He's also destroyed his political career.

I was being kind. I'm already eating crow for being too hard on Newt; I don't want to have to eat more.

Have four educated nieces and nephews in Michigan. They are all getting food stamps and working menial jobs. Not completely unemployed but life is really tough...They are surviving waiting until the economy turns around. They want PAY checks not Food stamps.

They should all drive over to North Dakota and cash in.

One is moving to IN. The others for one reason or another are stuck where they are. Nephew’s wife starts a job she went to school for today. Hubby is still looking. Two down and four to go. Just talked with sis....They all were sitting on the fence but became Newt backers with the paycheck line.

Sis was concerned about his “wives” until she saw his second wife on TV. Can’t repeat her comment. But Newt can count on at least eight votes from her family.

He speaks up for righteousness and Constitutional principles,

Like conservative voters don't know about righteousness and the constitutional principles? My pastor does a better job on speaking about it because he walks the talk - as he doesn't lie about anyone to make himself look better.

but Rick knows well that he is a flawed character, as are we all. Of course, you know that.

Well, if he knows it - I don't see where he's doing anything about it with his lying about Newt's record. All I see is hypocrisy while he's busy adjusting his halo.

Of course, you know that. And the nation sees it. His self righteousness is so thick it overwhelms any patriotism he may have. Would you be surprised if he threw his support to mitt if he drops out?

I wasn’t for Newt earlier, but it’s clear Santorum isn’t going to take off, and Newt is far better than Romney. I am concerned about his chances in the general, but I think his idea of a national campaign, not a GOP campaign, and his effort toward creating partners etc. will be very innovative and help him succeed. He also is excellent at turning a negative into a positive, such as perceptions about his past behavior.

All I can tell you is its SO MUCH FUN watching the commentators on Fox News and Fox Radio with their chins on the ground and sad puppy dog faces. Basically the Brian Kilmeade show and John Gibson show are now full-time Romney campaign ads. And they're on Newt like a pack of hyenas. And this is just the radio side of the campaign.

I love this

My biggest concern is that he might have trouble connecting with women. Indeed, that is the one group that he lost to Romney that he should have been able to win. I am certain of one thing, however. If I noticed this problem, he and his team have as well and will work to correct it.

My other question is, do we get people to vote for Paul in Virginia? He and Romney are the only two choices. Virginia is big enough that it will really be silly, especially if Romney bails out before then. I doubt he will as that is Super Tuesday I, but Florida might convince him once more that he has no chance.

He appeared to win all categories in women in SC I think, which is surprising.

“He wasn’t even a ‘real’ actor but someone who was best known for a movie about a chimp.”

EVEN WORSE!!! My God, what a stupid thing for this country to do....hmmm, whatever became of it....hmmm....

1) The economy roared back to life
2) The Cold War ended and we won
3) People were proud to be Americans, again

I guess the Establishment was wrong then...LOL.
