Why does Glenn Beck have disgust for & overlooks the Gingrich record on Israel, balanced budgets?
January 5, 2012 | Ralph Mitchell

Can someone tell me why Glenn Beck has such digust for Newt Gingrich, without mentionning his conservative credentials on Israel and Balanced budgets? Glenn said on GBTV last night that he leaves political expertise to Rush Limbaugh. However, he does not mention that Rush is usually positive on Newt's conservative background. The vitrol toward Newt Gingrich from Glenn and his GBTV panelists seems to be unreasonable and coordinated. Any explanations would be appreciated.

May God guide our course.

HE does; but it's OUR hand on the tiller!

Just like my GPS; GOD is always saying, "Make a U-turn at the first possible moment."

or...

"Recalculating..."

I was poking fun - you have an agenda.

I do both:

2 Corinthians 11:12

And I will keep on doing what I am doing

in order to cut the ground from under those

who want an opportunity to be considered equal

with us in the things they boast about.

Utah being a small state and Mormon has a pretty big inferiority complex.

HUH??

I’ve heard him tell the story about his daughter and her
morman boyfriend a couple of times. Guess he’s also another story on how he got in Joe Smith’s cult. I don’t really care. I think he’s a loudmouth closet liberal, sort of the male version of Ann Coulter. He needs to go back to his original occupation, stand-up comedian, because he’s a joke.

I’ve never heard him support Mitt either. He was one of the few in the media even interviewing Bachmann and Santorum - at least in an honest ask-susbstantive-questions way.

His show’s on now ... talking about Obama’s new appointments. Will be interviewing Andy Andrews about his new book and David Barton will be on. I love his new show.

Glad Glenn has the freedom to report, teach, and counter the lamestream reporting on all the alphabet networks.

Oh boy - LARGE font - I’m convinced now.

I looked up other posts by you and you just think Mormons are evil (your own words) so it wouldn’t matter if Glenn Beck supported Billy Graham for President you still wouldn’t like him

I will not argue “Mormons aren’t Christians” with anyone.

We are done I presume?

I couldn’t get any lighter, look at your posts, and your continued personal attacks.

It wouldn’t work. I enjoy Glenn Beck. Very thankful for his eye opening reporting. But if he told me to vote for Mitt Romney ... well ... I wouldn’t. lol ...

What’s to argue? Mormons are not Christians - their own theology precludes it.

And Elsie believes MormonISM is evil, I don’t think they have ever posted Mormons (individuals) are evil - but they are blind.

And FTR, I used to be Mormon, then God opened my eyes.

His radio work is not so good lately. Gone are the exposes on Van Jones and similar real work. Replaced now by some lame audio version of The Three Stooges.

When he announced his "restoration of love" event and suggested racism was behind a preference for Newt above Obama, that was it for me, no more, can't listen to it.

His TV show is really good. David Barton on right now and he’s just a walking encyclopedia of American History. I’ve learned more from David Barton than I ever learned in a classroom.

“I understand him to be supporting Santorum, and I don’t really think it’s some evil plot to get Romney into the WH. Not sure how it would work if it were.”

My understanding is he supports Santorum as well. The only thing I can think of is he supports multiple conservative candidates so the vote is split and romney wins the gop nom. Of course you could apply the same thing to Rush too I suppose.

I was using hyperbole. My comments weren’t personal attacks at all.

Perhaps your dislike of Mormonism has made you sensitive. Or would you consider that sentence a personal attack too?

My point is Glenn Beck is not promoting Romney - I have heard him say good things about Santorum many times.

The end.

AMAZING interview just now with Andy Andrews, author of the new book How do you Kill a Million People? Amazing. GBTV is worth every penny.

Any Christian can just inquire into their own denomination's statement on Mormonism, to realize that their own church states that Mormonism is a different religion, and is not a part of Christianity.

For instance this is a list of non-Christian cults from Catholic Answers.

I must have missed that one, I was not a devoted fan of his when he had the TV show. I may not know all of history, but I damn sure know enough not to need his advice on being a conservative and how this country was founded. I read.

He needs to read about the LDS religion, before he can lecture us on TRUTH.

”...“Take away the Book of Mormon and the revelations, and where is our religion? We have none.” History of the Church, Vol. 6, p. 408-409, History of the Church, 2:52""""

Pretty sad and condemning statement. Not a belief system I would want to trust my soul to.

Take away our BIBLE, we still have a faith and a CHURCH.

Yep. But taking quotes like that seriously is what got me out of Mormonism (partly anyway).
