Blue Republicans (This is Ron Paul's base and it is Soros-sponsored)
Blue Republicans ^ | 2 January 2012 | Unattributed

Posted on 01/02/2012 10:00:46 AM PST by LSUfan

We are people who have never before thought of joining the Republican party, but are going to do so for one year to ensure that Ron Paul wins the Republican nomination for President in 2012.

Most of us identify as Democrats or Independents and/or supported Obama in 2008. We believe that on issues that matter most – war vs. peace (Iraq, Yemen etc.), civil liberties (Patriot Act etc.), and crony corporatism (bailouts etc.) – Obama has pursued a course similar to George Bush. Our reasoning is laid out in this article by Robin Koerner on the Huffington Post that “went viral”, coining the term “Blue Republicans” for those of more liberal sensibilities who are registering Republican specifically for Ron Paul.

THIS is Ron Paul. He is a modern-day Lord Haw Haw and those who support him are just like Jane Fonda 30-40 years ago.

Ron Paul’s base are dopeheads and anarchists who hate Bible-believing Christians. I know many who compare Christians to cavemen.

I’ve always suspect that a sizable hunk of Ron Paul’s support is coming from true lefties who have no intention of voting for him, but based on his crazy anti-military and other ideas, are doing their own Operation Chaos on us.

Time will tell.

Silver lining?

Some ex-voters of “Bath House” Barry spit on him, now.

Ron Paul is not a republican. He only runs on the republican ticket because he could not win a legislative seat in Texas on the Libertarian ticket. He does not belong in the republican presidential race but I say lets tolerate him because he has no chance to win and hopefully he will not go with a third party ticket. After NH and SC Ron Paul will still be running but nobody will be listening or reporting on him.

Where I used to work, a company that I founded to market and product I invented. I was the last conservative there. Everyone was an Obama democrat global warming koolaid drinking rat. Needless to say they got rid of me and within a few years went belly up. I keep hoping we will have a reunion and I get invited. lol, I'd love to tell them one last time what a bunch of dumb a$$s they are.

I just don't see many of them voting Ron Paul, Ron Paul is a small government guy and they are all like big government idiots.

I don’t doubt you but that they’re Soros funded, but I wonder if you’ve got a source—or is it somewhere there and I missed it?

I'm curious as to any information you have about this "organization" (which appears to me to be a single individual, Robin Koerner) being in any way sponsored by George Soros.

The web site is clearly professionally designed, including its logo, but it is utterly opaque in regard to who might be supporting or funding it, other than Mr. Koerner. However, all of the site links go to YouTube videos of Ron Paul or to Paul's campaign web site.

Wait, while I put on my Nostradamus hat.

OK, Ron Paul will not win the Republican Nomination, he'll run as a third Party candidate, he'll take the “Flaming Idiot” wing of the Democrat Party (and their numbers are legion), and Obama will lose without this major block of voters within the Democrat Party.

George Soros is wasting his money if he's betting on the "Undecided" voters in this country. Any American voter who is still undecided after three years of Obama just hasn't been paying attention or is incapable of paying attention, take your pick.

I’ve suspected that as well. Here’s a 2010 thread:

Interesting. It explains much. I note they even use a jackass for their logo.

Plenty of flaming idiot "Republicans" out there too. I'd rather see a one on one. Which I suspect we will, unless Ron figures the donations are worth Rand's career.

If I were a Democrat, I’d want Ron Paul to be the Republican nominee. Democrats can change parties because their man is a lock.

I wonder if he ran on a third party ticket would he draw more votes from Republicans or Democrats? There are a lot of Democrats out there who are angry at Obama but would never vote Republican so Ron Paul just might be an option for them especially if it appears conservatives don't like him.

Lib support for the APaulling one is intended to tar all Pubbies (which RP is) as well as conservatives (which RP isn't) as the kind of loonies that Ron Paul is.
