The ad may have been 30 sec but so what? Signing a bad bill takes 5 seconds.

It was consistent what Newt was doing in that 10+ year period. He joined every trendy liberal cause. His judgement is questionable.
His amnesty plan is beyond stupid. That was the real killer for me.
He must know that his amnesty law would lead to mass amnesty by opening all sort of loopholes for liberal courts and admin.

Well, I’ll part ways with some and say I’ll vote for Romney, albeit, wearing a gas mask while I do so.

The people who just want to get rid of 0bama and don’t pay attention to conservative issues may see Romney as their best choice.

This is going to be a problem for conservatives. There are a lot of people who want to get rid Obama who would consider themselves only marginally conservative or not conservative at all. To these voters, a soft, left-leaning "Republican" like Romney is a choice they're comfortable with.

If Arlen endorsement disqualifies, then surely endorsing union and acorn supported dede s over conservative in ny23 also disqualifies?

What is Santorum’s plan to get the 11 million illegals out of the country? Please detail all the steps and how it will work.

Left-leaners WILL vote Obama in November if the choice is between hard-left and soft-left. Please show me one presidential election where Liberal Lite beat Pure Liberal.

I know one thing. No amnesty, ever.

Self-deportation worked well in AL.

Scorched earth 3rd party campaign is the only way we can send a message to the Republican establishment if Romney is the nominee. We need to keep infiltrating their ranks from the bottom up of course but they need to know there’s a significant price for thumbing their nose at their base or it will never stop. A 3rd party conservative candidate really has a chance against Liberal and Liberaler so it really could end up being more than just a protest vote.

These are proportional delegates, so I still want to know if lower tier candidates can drop out and “give” their delegates to someone else. In that way, the conservative vote can be consolidated by the candidates themselves. Problem is if they don’t do it soon, the media meme will keep pushing Romney which could shift votes and the conservatives might not get fundraising.

No, endorsing one bad candidate in a 40-year career doesn’t disqualify anything. Results, a record, and actual accomplishments matter more than insubstantial, ephemeral endorsements.

This is what a trillion dollars of negative ads will get for you. Come on down to GA Mitt and see how many votes you get. And don’t count on SC and Fl to fall for it either.

We will not survive four more years of Obama. The entire country will end up like California - a basket case - with more and more people dependent on the government for survival.

Santorum is not a light weight.

Santorum views the influx of foreign workers as damaging to the nation, both on the economic and social front. He was a strong advocate in former President Bush’s US-Mexico border fence initiative. He has voiced support for the contentious Guest Worker program, with strict limitations on any participation in Social Security as well as fast tracking of citizenship applications.

Our real dilemma is, we won't survive under Romney either.

In fact, if this brain dead general electorate votes Romney in, the MSM, the press and everybody with a blog, will blame the entire economic mess on the GOP, The Republican President, etc,,.

There won't be a sad story or bad bit of economic news, that won't be the fault of those dirty corrupt Republican/GOP operatives who are totally destroying all of the wonderful and positive things that Obama worked so hard and gave so much to create. And the mess will 1,000% the fault of every Republican to have served in office since George Washington.

It will be like Bush 43 on Steroids!

He is absolutely a lightweight....and he has no plan for immigration except a stronger fence. Everybody is for that.

He’s a 5 %r and his surge will be short lived in Iowa.

But then again, Newt appears to be coming back in Iowa..

Mittens 17 %
Gingrich 16.7 %

Part of this new return to Newt is, his message is finally getting out, and the voters are saying themselves, they do not like the hateful and negative ads from Romney and Paul.

Newt has also said, that he saved his resourses for the last few days, where they will count the most, but Newt also pointed out that he refrained from going dirty and it was starting to pay off. Let’s hope!
