“Perry refused to bash NNewt.”
I noticed that in the last two debates. It appears to me Perry has become more “Newtonian”. It has served Perry well and he is rising in the debates. Perry is a good study.

You may have missed the last one, when he said if you cheat on your wife, you'll cheat on your business partner...

IMO that was the hardest bash Gingrich got.

I just watched the debate which I’d taped. I agree that the various attacks on Bachmann were not well founded, especially those that criticized her appearance. she looked great.

She frankly doesn’t have a chance in my opinion, but she sure got a lot of time last night. Perhaps the moderators thought she would stir things up a little and she did.

Newt talked so fast it sounded manic. He needs to slow down and sound more statesmanlike. He doesn’t need to tell everything he knows in every response. But he did get the most attacks and deflected most of them pretty well.

I liked Perry’s answers a lot but he was horribly ignored for much of the evening. I began to wonder if he was there ... they seem to be trying to destroy him by inattention.

Even Huntsman and Paul got more time and they are non-factors.

I didn’t think this debate was particularly meaningful. Most of those issues had been brought up before.

I thought Perry was particularly good on the border and the dangers of not only illegal Mexicans but terrorists being able to slip in.

I thought Newt was good on the tyranny of judges which is rampant and destructive in the country, and Perry’s idea of term limits for all judges is one I support wholeheartedly.

I think most of the candidates are pro-life and the rest is nit picking.

Glad I watched it because it’s so obvious that if one was already for Newt, he did great and so on.

Newt is glib and informed but I found myself getting sick of the sound of his voice.

I won’t be horribly depressed if he gets the nomination.

I think it may be down to Newt or Perry at this point and I much prefer Perry.

For last debate only top contenders should have been there. At least it does show; that ANY one of them is better than Obama; but of course, Repubs don’t just ‘any’one on ticket.

right we shouldn’t call her a bitch and complain about her hair and makeup. The way she lied about Gingrich’s position on abortion and let Romney get a pass on the subject....... She is a dishonest, lying scumbag. There fixed it for you. No excuse for lying about some else’s record.

Sadly, I must agree it is not too soon to be reaching that conclusion. The list of her smears is very long now, her campaign has been little but a s***storm of false charges and vile insinuations. She is a disgrace and fell to disgrace by her own persistent efforts.

That said, the woman needs our prayers because she has hitched her wagon to the Prince of Lies and I don't think that was her initial intention.

Absolutely Lady Lucky and not much has been mentioned about her having the 11th worse attendence record in congress; not being able to get her legislation passed or her attempt to take away benefits from the veterans in order to trim the Defense Dept Budget. She has been given a free pass...why? because her polling numbers are so low she is not a threat.

One thing that I really liked about this debate is that FNC moderators brought foreign affairs into the questions and discussions. POTUS Obama should be roundly defeated for his mega failed foreign policy. He has done everything possible to weaken America and put our nation in harm’s way!!! IMHO, Obama is more in tune with “his “Muslim Brotherhood” brothers, then he is with either Black American brothers or, just plain old, “any” American, male or female!!! Obama is the anti-American from head to toe!!! !!! Now, the lamestream media has avoided bringing foreign policy into any of “their” debates!!! For good reason!!!

There is no “Arab Spring”. Just the Obama abetted “Fascist” takeover of almost all of the Middle East!!! And.....Israel purposely thrown under the bus by Obama & Hillary Clinton alike!!! Can any Jew ever in good heart and clear conscience ever cast a vote for this Jew hater of the first magnitude!! We, must keep the American people and voters truthfully informed about this man, Obama, who in his heart of hearts wants to destroy America across the board!!

I pray for the day, that the Republican candidates for POTUS enmasse, keep the ugly, hateful spectre of POTUS Obama, the America destroyer, clearly in front of the American people and call him the “Traitor” that he truly is to our wonderful country. And.....ditto.....the verbage can be equally applied to his spouse, Michelle Obama, a core America hater to her very Devil inspired soul!!!

Yes, America, the truth hurts, but.....the truth is still the truth!!!

Why I would NEVER support Bachmann. She tried to screw our veterans.

http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2011/01/28/141412/bachmann-veterans/

In her tea party-fueled quest to cut government spending and social programs, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) has unveiled a plan to cut $400 billion in federal spending that includes freezing the Veterans Affairs Department’s health care spending and cuts veterans’ disability benefits. The Air Force Times reports her plan would slice $4.5 billion from the VA, including reducing 150,000 veterans’ disability compensation and the amount they receive in Social Security Disability Income.A host of veterans groups slammed Bachmann’s plan:

–Veterans of Foreign War national commander Richard L. Eubank said, “The only discussion the VFW wants is to tell the congresswoman that her plan is totally out of step with America’s commitment to our troops.

Bachmann has House’s 11th WORST record for missed votes...she is not fulfilling her duties to her constituents
Of 435 members of the U.S. House of Representatives, only ten have missed more votes this session than Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, according to the Washington Post’s tally. Bachmann has missed 105 votes, or 13.6 percent of all votes. Fellow Republican Rep. Erik Paulsen had the state’s best record, missing only six votes in the 111th Congress, just one less than Rep. Tim Walz missed.
While California Democrat Rep. Hilda Solis had the highest rate of missed votes — she missed 59 of 78 possibles votes — the number of missed votes by party is roughly the same: Democrats missed 3.5 percent of votes, while Republicans missed 3.3 percent.
Another Minnesotan high on the list: At number 23, Rep. Keith Ellison missed ten percent of the votes, casting 695 and missing 78. Here’s how others in Minnesota’s delegation fared:
Rep. Betty McCollum: 16 missed (2.1 percent of all votes), 757 cast
Rep. Collin Peterson: 25 missed (1.9), 758 cast
Rep. Jon Kline: 12 missed (1.6), 761 cast
Rep. James Oberstar: 10 missed (1.3), 763 cast
Rep. Tim Walz: 7 missed (1.3), 766 cast
Rep. Erik Paulsen: 6 missed (0.8), 767 cast

Bachmann’s Farm Subsidies...more will come out on this..and NO the questions have not been fully answerd.
Bachmann has said that the farm’s founder, her father-in-law, Paul Bachmann, is the only member of the Bachmann Farm Family Limited Partnership who ever applied for farm subsidies — a statement borne out by federal documents. He last applied for federal payments in 2007, and he died in 2009.
But federal documents and courthouse entries in Alma, Wis., show that a neighbor has picked up where the patriarch left off. The Bachmann family partnership signed a lease agreement with the neighbor in April 2008, and he is actively enrolled in the same FSA aid programs.
From 1995 through 2007, the FSA paid $259,000 in commodities and disaster subsidies to the Bachmann farm. Since 2008, FSA payments to the neighbor’s expanded operations have totaled $52,921, records show.
The Bachmann for President team didn’t respond to the Star Tribune’s inquiries about the farm, but a campaign statement given to Politico last month said her share of income from the farm is wrapped up in the family partnership, which she said was formed for estate planning purposes. Bachmann, her husband, Marcus, and their five children belong to the partnership but documents don’t say how much of it they control. Marcus has two brothers, and his mother, Elma, is still alive.
http://www.startribune.com/politics/130509053.html

Not to mention she violated Reagan’s law and attacked Palin via her campaign manager; Perry, Newt and Cain’s 999 plan which she referred to as being more like 666. She also mentioned Trump as a potential vice president.
However, MORE than anything..I won’t forgive her for trying to take our disabled veteran’s benefits away ...she can go to Hades.

I wasn’t deriding Perry... that is what he said, and I think he really made a good point... he actually humbly said, I am at a new level even though he gets no respect and he’s a strong Christian, just like Tebow... and I was just telling her what Perry said..

She will endorse the nominee whomever that is.

You can't be serious. How can she endorse someone who...let's say it's Newt...who is in her opinion "on the take," involved in a "scam," a SOCIALIST and influence peddler and now supportive of INFANTICIDE???

How do you square all that with her supposedly consistent conservative values, with her purity not to mention her credibility?

Bachmann has gotten herself entangled in her own deceitful web and the sooner she gets out of the campaign, the better for everyone. She could also use some prayer and examination of conscience, because she has gone far astray.
