In other words, Democratic vote fraud is being effectively addressed.
They can’t win if its not close. No wonder they’re fit to be tied!

2.) If your broke tail can not afford a picture ID you probably do not need to have any of these other documents: Passport, Drivers License, Library Card, Mortgage, Marriage Certificate, Hunting/Fishing permit.
3.) I still don't care what liberals want or say...CRIMINALS AND ILLEGALS should never ever vote!
Really? You know, I don't care if there is only one instance of voter fraud in the entire United States...that's one too many. In Lake County, Indiana, dead people continue to vote...in some cases, twice. The idea of voter ID cards is long overdue and these two bleeding hearts need to consider the impact of any level of voter fraud and what it does to the very core of this Republic.
Huh? It takes a poll worker a few seconds extra to look at your ID, which the vast majority of voters already have. Sometimes it even speeds up the voting because they have your name and address on the card so they don't have you repeat your name's spelling a few times (the poll workers where I vote are older and seem to be a little deaf). The number of real people who have never driven, never picked up a government welfare benefit and have never opened up a bank account and therefore don't have any legal ID before the voting requirement must be vanishingly small. One time the reporter complaining about this had to use nuns at a cloistered convent as an example of the disenfranchised.
I have a right to an equal vote, not cancelled by Democrat voter fraud, which I believe accounts for 20% of Democratic votes cast.
I’d be willing to allow recently expired photo (say within the year) IDs that would be acceptable if current. It undercuts the comments in the article about excluding valid voters.
That said, we HAVE to have voter ID if you want truthful elections. Of course, if you want to influence elections outside of the regular voting process, elimination of voter ID is a great place to start.
Liberals can go eat crap. 2nd Admendment is a right, and I have to show picture ID to buy a firearm. Plus wait one week for handguns. Would they like us to add a one week waiting period to the voter ID requirement????
“The sacred covenant of our democracy”
By LAW, OUR country is a Constitutional REPUBLIC, Not a BLEEPING DEMOCRACY!
Democratic, One Man One Vote Covenants are nothing more than Mob Rule.
The idea here is to make it More Difficult for Non Americans to vote.
Present Fed or State photo ID to vote...
Excellent, as it should be
I'm a former democrat - voter fraud is real. Dems cheat. Everyone above a certain level knows it. Either the MSM is unaware of this - because their best friends, husbands, wives, boyfriends or girlfriends have decided to keep this quiet OR they know and they don't care...
Wisconsin's new voter identification restrictions, which passed the Legislature this year, are among the simplest in the country. It is easy to obtain a voter ID; it is cheap to obtain a voter ID, even if you have no money. We, the people, have both a responsibility and right to vote.
We want to feel assured that we have one vote for one voter. ZERO people will be disenfranchised by the requirement for a voter ID. There may be fewer voters when the fraudulent voters have been eliminated by the new requirement. That would be a good thing for ALL of us.
The libs are complaining that in Wisconson the university students can’t use their student ID as identification to vote. Does the student ID identify the student as a legal citizen of Wisconsin? If not they need to go home and vote in their State or Country.
To HELL with Democracy!
I want the REPUBLIC our founders gave us back!
They are especially incensed about not allowing student IDs. Generally, a student ID does not show your address of residence. It is thus possible for a student to vote three times:
(1) at the campus poll using student ID,
(2) at your off-campus residence poll, using your driver's license, and
(3) absentee at your parent's home.
State employee ID generally has the same issue, they don't show your residence address.
Out of state license? Aren't you supposed to be a resident of WI to vote in WI? If you are a resident, you are supposed to turn in your out-of-state license and get a WI license.
Hogwash (the commenters there think so too). Watch the Democrats start losing elections now, which is the subliminal gripe of this article. A secure election process is one of our most cherished rights - without it, we are a Banana Republic.
However, there seems to still be some loopholes in this "strictest" law. I checked out the ID requirements, which state, among others, "Acceptable forms of proof of residence: any employer-issued photo I.D. card, issued in the normal course of business; a university, college or technical college fee card or I.D. card with your photo and current address; a utility bill (e.g., gas, electric, cable TV or telephone) for the period commencing not earlier than 90 days before election day; a bank statement; a pay check or a government check or other document issued by unit of government."
Where's the beef?
Even the poorest of the poor must have and Photo ID to cash any check that is mailed them.
Try to cash any kind of check without a Photo ID.
This whole issue about the US being a “democracy” should instantly convince people the left is completely full of crap and the press who keeps repeating junk like this is complicit.
Nearly everything the left does is an intentional manipulation and or distortion of the facts.
Our US Constitution, and how it was intended, is a aferthought to the left.
What burns me is everyone on the right side should refuse to respond until the question uses the correct phase..Constitutional Republic!
I thought that voter ID was not about verifying a voter's identity, it was about identifying a person as being eligible to vote.
In other words, the person must first have shown a United States birth certificate, naturalization certificate, or United States passport, to indicate that the person is a CITIZEN of the United States, and therefore is allowed to vote.
They cannot just be a resident in the United States. They must be a citizen to vote.
