I agree with you. I was so mad at Newt I could have smacked him witha 2x4 a few years ago.... but no doubt he is the guy that needs to be the next president. He has the experience, the knowledge, the policy, and the polish. He is the guy.

A pretty safe job compared to what Perry did and a pretty nasty comment about someone who risked his life for your sorry butt.

Why build a fence that serves to keep your own people away from the river? But allows the other side free and unfettered access?

Well, first you build the fence...then you divert the river to our side of the fence.

If Cain was “damaged” by his 9-9-9 plan, it’s because the people attacking him still don’t understand it.

If you’re going to debate someone on the centerpiece of their campaign, at least take the time to learn about it.

Stating falsehoods about someone else doesn’t create much respect, and they don’t get my vote.

These people are running for President - they should at least understand their opponent and not make false attacks on their proposals.

They are either intellectually lazy, or just pushing lies to tear down their opponent.

I can’t vote for someone like that.

Where did Cain serve?

The Department of the Navy. He was a ballistic missile expert. They wouldn't let him serve in uniform, saying they needed him where he was.

Satisfied?

“Try reading FR sometime. EVERYONE knows who the Mormon haters are.”
... and yet you apparently can’t name one??? But everyone knows?”

All those who respond to this comment most vociferously are the culprits. Thou doth protest too much.

Here was the original interview by Cain:

http://hotair.com/archives/2011/10/18/herman-cain-sure-i-can-see-myself-releasing-everyone-at-gitmo-in-exchange-for-one-u-s-pow/

Only about 1 min 30 seconds. Worth listening to, since his words will be misquoted all over the media for the next several days/weeks.

And frankly, he did not do a very good job of answering this tonight.

In the interview Cain said that there might be a time that he would negotiate with terrorists...He now says that he misspoke. He was pretty definite in the interview.
This makes #2 first the electrified fence and now negotiating with terrorists.

And your butt was saved by people who worked for the military as CIVILIANS too, thank you.

My father in law is one, he worked on the Patriot Missile at Redstone Arsenal. You gonna tell me he didn’t matter too?

This is a Romney Perry game. The money declares that. Perry is the distance runner. The country is not yet watching reportedly. When the others are gone who will it be? Romney or Perry.

Romney will win early in the more liberal states that rarely vote for a Pub in the general election. Perry will emerge in the states that represent the core of America and the Pub party. It will be Perry if the Rat crossover vote isn't a factor.

So, like Obama, all who don’t buy what Cain is selling are too stupid to understand it.

Good argument.

I didn’t mean to knock Cain because he didn’t serve. A lot of good people didn’t.

I just resented the heck out of the village idiot here who called him a sissy.

I’d love to see him call Perry that to his face.

The money spent on mainstream media ads wasn’t able to save democrats from mostly volunteer Tea Party members. Conservative Tea Party Activist are becoming more important than becoming moderate for more funding/media money.

Would someone explain what the third 9 is for in Cain's 999 plan. I am sure it has been explain but all I hear them talk about is the first two 9’s? What about these elderly Americans, who only have a small Social Security check coming in each month? How are they going to pay the 999. I think it is going to call for more welfare. Cain says that goods will be much cheaper because prices will come way down because everyone will want to do business in the US. This is certainly a maybe at best.

The least presidential thing I thought Perry did was get involved in the cat fighting.

Santorum Myth and Bachmann were doing well at that BS.

I know he wanted to land a punch but I would have kept my powder dry.
