“These means Obama will lose, or the voters in this country deserves what they get.”

If The 0 loses, there will be black riots. That means their voting in 3 different precincts was in vain.

“There will only be decisions to make for a change of whether to pay for the hundred thousand extra employees who provide the grants for scientists to prove man is causing the demise of the purple flecked frog or the humpback lizard. The rest of us wouldn’t even notice except for the reporters trying to prove the Rapture just occurred beause some school kids aren’t able to get into the Airplane museum, oh the humanity!”

So funny - and so true.

The last two paragraphs in this brilliant-as-always piece are particularly good, only leaving out that Obamacare will create a doctor shortage, rationed care, $500B in Medicare cuts, and denial of many needed procedures for Seniors.

ALL this should be made into campaign ads and says just what’s needed to be told to the American voters.

Great post AB and we thank you for your service to our great country.

We still have a fighting chance however. The Old Media/DBM is being replaced by our efforts here and elsewhere in the New Media. Talk radio has millions of listeners and we feed them. So what we do here has impact.

If/when the rating is lowered, the interest rates will go up, which means that the annual interest payments will increase. That means the deficit increases, which makes the national debt bugger, which makes next year's deficit bigger when the interest rate goes up, which increases the national debt...

So no matter how long the lifers in DC argue about this, until our federal government learns to spend less than it takes in, we run the risk of destroying ourselves through debt. I wonder how our side discussions compare to the chit chat going on in Babel when the tower was just getting built.

David Plouffe on ABC - “smart” entitlement reform and tax reform is needed to cut defecit, long ter

He is correct unfortunately he has no clue at all what "smart" reform looks like. People like Paul Ryan do.

So I must take a moment for some levity. Well y'all might not laugh but by me it's a hoot.

Our church pastor sends out the weekly bulletin with a whispered caveat that we must all be polite and welcoming to our "summer visitors". Heh.

My rule of thumb is to start the mockery at Memoral Day and begin winding down by Labor Day. Okay, I try to be discrete with my smirks but./...

Below a pic I managed to get on my cell phones on my way to church. Note the hands and feet sticking out of the back of the car. That's my Jeep hood as I snapped from behind my windshield.

Well I thought it was cute, probably a tourist cause Sussex Countians are way too serious for this sort of thing, insert smirk here.

Anyway, so I'm in church and a whole pew of tourists come in. You can tell the tourists cause there are always about twelve of them piling into one pew, they're always wearing shorts and showing lots of tanned skin, they often still have sand on the back of their legs.

One of the females of this troop, directly in front of me mind you, has on some kind of halter top affair. Yon ladies know what a halter top is, most likely, for the men, this is a woman's top that takes the neckline up to, well, the neck, with a tie bowed in the back of the neck to hold it up. The backs of halter tops vary, most times there's a real low bottom band leaving most of the back bare.

This lady had a little cross of cloth type of thing but yes, that very low band in the back leaving most of her back bare with just those two crossed strips of cloth covering her back. Her front, understand, was completely covered, her back, mostly bare.

So okay, I'm not convinced that this sort of attire is proper for church but hey, they're tourists and we have a very lax dress code for our seashore location, so okay.

THIS woman, heh, decided to wear a bra and so okay, this is fine. It was a strapless bra but definitely a Playtex type of affair with enough rubber to hold in a nursing cow's udders. Again, this is fine except....the entire back of this huge bra was visible to everyone behind her! ALL OF IT! Even some of the cup part of the bra should she lean over just a bit.

Right in front of me, God has a sense of humor, my pastor warns us not to poke fun so I look everywhere but directly in front of me cause I don't want my Lord to get mad at me.

I so wanted to get a picture of this so I would not have to type the above words but it ain't easy taking a picture in church. I did pull out my cell phone, all silenced as proper for mass. I worked with configuring the thing so that just the lens peeked out of the top of my hymnal and pondering if I couldn't sneakily press the photo button but an attack of sanity came upon me and I put the cell phone away.

At some point, as I prayed to God to keep me from guffawing and not looking around to see if others might be laughing too, I even took off my own little blouse like ersatz jacket that I wear to mass to ward off the air conditioner chill and thought of offering it to her.

Of course that would not do, it would probably make her feel even more self-conscious. Although I knew she was aware of it as she kept fooling with it all during mass, snapping it and all till I wanted to smack her hands.

I wisely did nothing and the whole gang snuck out right after communion.

Sometimes I wonder, out of a church that holds 700 people, why directly in front of me?

Inquiring minds want to know.

I have to have hope, God Bless us! What other nation, our Great Babylon, has so many Christians in it? Why would He forsake us?

^^^^

Today’s readings are all about God “being there for us.” Not government!

The response in today’s Psalm: The hand of the Lord feeds us; he answers all our needs.

and the Gospel was about feeding the five thousand who had gathered to hear the Lord’s Words.

God can do that with five loaves and two fish. Obama, Pelosi and Reid cannot.

I’m doing better (witness my occassional return here) for the most part. I’m pretty much recovered from the two eye operations last year, though I do still have stitches. I’m mostly doing OK with the Celiac, but I do get some cross contamination every month or so and that leads to an unpleasant couple of weeks. The latest thing has been physical therapy to deal with degenerating joints in my upper spine. Lots of exercises and stretching of the neck and the supporting muscles, but I’ve done well enough with that to have the visits to the therapists end just this last week. The exercizes will never end.

The next few things coming up for us should be more fun. My wife earned 4 nights at Couples in Jamaica in September. Using vouchers she’s earned from the airline our airfare for both of us is under $500 total. And it’s an all inclusive resort. Not a bad deal for a week’s vacation. And 3 weeks later we have a 2 week cruise from L.A.to the Hawaiian islands and back. We may even get to visit the set of the movie our nephew wrote, The Gangster Squad, while we’re passing through Los Angeles. Sean Penn is playing mobster Mickey Cohen, with Josh Brolin as the head of the LAPD team in the late 40’s intent on keeping the east coast mob out of southern California. There’s a lot of buzz about it, particularly how good his script is. Check it out online. The cast is amazing.

I hope all is well with everyone?

Says the average Republican voter thinks the debt deal should include tax increase

Just once I wish someone who stay "Excuse me, what data can you cite to show support for that claim?" It is complete make believe. Another example how the Progressive Fascist Political Media machine is willing to simply make up things to validate their failed political dogmas. How can we possible ever have any meaningful political discuss with people so intellectually dishonest?

That we really are not broke we just need to rape the rich a little more.

What they overlook is that it is NOT their money - their theme is that we are sitting on gobs of cash and America is not broke - it just needs to be REDISTRIBUTED. Commie Moore is one to talk about "theft". SOUNDS LIKE A DECLARATION OF WAR ON THE WAGON PULLERS TO ME!!!

I just finished watching Meet the Press and I was blown away by Raul Labrador! He didn’t let anybody get away with any crap, but without looking nasty. He was totally rational and had facts at hand without a stumble. He thinks on his feet!

#####

I heard him on cspam radio and agree totally with you. He was really good at getting serious points into the discussion.

Absolutely correct MNJ and so great to hear from you.

My fear is that since the enviro Marxists and zero have blocked some 90% of all our energy needs we probably won't solve that one until he is gone and we have a Republican Congress.

At that point I hope its the Energy President Sarah Palin. If so she will surely address our energy needs which are huge and like you say continue to hold the country back.

I hate to say this but it is true. The military has enjoyed a great ten years or so of good funding for troop pay and operations. We are hurting for project money for issues that may soon bite us hard, but it’s not been that bad. In war time, we get budget items filled that we need.

Historically, as a percentage of total outlays, military spending was much higher thru the early 70's. It came down after that.

We are gutting our military. It's one of the Federal Government's legitimate roles. It's what Clinton/Newt cut. It's what Obama/Boehner will cut.

Meanwhile all the other types of unconstitutional spending increase as a percentage of the total outlays.

That's not good.

Thank you for the description on Meet the Depressed. We refuse to watch much TV anymore, so appreciate the report.

Raul Labrador is one of our Idaho Representatives, and he is fantastic. He’s young, articulate, personable, photogenic, and very conservative.

Tea Party and other Idahoans managed to get rid of a Democrat and elect Raul.

I’m glad the House gave him a chance to showcase his talent on the Sunday show.

We are a Red state from the Governor clear through the whole slate of elected officers, plus a huge majority in both houses of the Legislature.

Kristol wants to see a Rubio-Ryan or Ryan-Rubio ticket for 2012.

I really like both of them, but at this point if Kristol's for it I'm agin' it!

Would someone please grab the Junk Media by the ear and scream at them:

Raising the Debt Ceiling will NOT prevent a downgrade of our AAA rating. The problem is our SPENDING is exceeding our ability to pay the bills. UNLESS there is REAL spending cuts and reform in the bill, WE WILL STILL BE DOWNGRADED!
