No, the prosecution wasn’t that bad. In fact, they were excellent. It was the jury that was that bad. Judge for yourself.

I think Cindy needs Casey for some ungodly reason. I don’t think George does and not what she did to him. I think he knows the truth and is willing to face it.
It’s beyond me that this jury would believe a man who was a cop would not do everything possible to save this child(any child). That’s why I don’t believe George was there.
How did anyone ever get convicted before DNA? BTW who did kill the baby if it wasn’t Casey?

Hannity’s friend Kitty Simpson came on to disagree with him. She watched the trial and made the astute point that there was more evidence against Casey than against Scott Peterson.
Peterson was convicted of killing his pregnant wife based on circumstantial evidence: affair ; lies; took his boat out on ~ the day his wife disappeared ; concrete in the garage- seemingly molded into a weight; body buried at sea; and it washed up decomposed, so a cause of death was not ascertainable. Peterson is on death row.
IIRC, those praising this Anthony acquittal did not say, “but we don’t have a cause of death, so how can we convict Peterson of murder?”. Or, “just because he’s a slut doesn’t mean he killed her. Maybe it was an
accident. Maybe some random person did it.”
We have as you say dumbed down the culture so much - and thrown so much ‘”reality TV” at people - that the ability to think logically is disappearing. If you don’t see it happen, it didn’t.
Alternate juror: Evidence ‘wasn’t there’ to convict Casey
Speaking outside his St. Petersburg home, Huekler, 51, said he agreed with the jury’s decision.
“The prosecution didn’t provide the evidence that was there for any of the charges from first-degree murder down to second-degree murder to the child abuse to even the manslaughter (charge). It just wasn’t there,” said Huekler. “I would say this is a dysfunctional family that’s hurting and because it was so dysfunctional that’s the way they dealt with their issues and problems. It’s a shame because it was an accident that became a murder scene.”
As Alternate Juror #14, Huekler was not part of the deliberations. It was his first time serving on a jury.
Huekler teaches U.S. government at Pinellas Park High School. He plans to spend the next week relaxing and spending some time with his wife and dogs.
Of the five alternate jurors, only two released their names to the media. Alternate Juror # 16 was identified as 25-year-old Dean Edward Eckstadt, a carpenter from Palm Harbor.
The 12 jurors did not speak immediately following the verdict. Judge Perry has sealed their names until further notice.
Dr. Glass said that after looking at the July 3, 2008 MySpace entry Cindy wrote that she thinks Cindy treated Caylee more like a novelty item (like a doll or toy) than a person. I’m not sure I agree but at the same time I cannot say I disagree either. There is always something “off” in everything the Anthony’s do or say. I feel sorry for Caylee. I don’t believe her short life was the fairy tale story we see in pictures of her.

If you don’t like it, try a military trial or the European justice system or even the Iranian justice system.
