According to the Honolulu Advertiser, a "son" was born to "Mr. and Mrs. Barack Obama" (Sr.) on August 4, 1961. That's all it says. No more; no less.

Barack Obama Sr. was married at the time to Kezia Obama from Kenya.
America, here are the real "Mr. and Mrs. Barack Obama," legally man and wife in 1961:
The Honolulu Advertiser birth announcement raises many more questions than it answers.
1. How does Stanley Ann Dunham fit into the picture?
2. Was 18-year old Ms. Dunham really married to Barack Obama Sr. as well?
3. If so, was Mr. Obama Sr. a bigamist, married to two women at the same time?
4. Did Ms. Dunham agree to "adopt" Barack Sr. and Kezia's child and claim it as her own in order to get the child into the country?
5. Since no name for the "son" is given, how can Barack Obama Jr. (a.k.a. Barry Soetoro), say that he is indeed the infant mentioned in the Honolulu Advertiser?
6. Where did the birth actually take place, i.e. at which hospital?
7. Who was the attending physician / midwife?
Exactly where will all this information lead?
We’ve got lots of proof, with more arriving daily, that Obummer is a fake. Or we at least have enough to justify reasonable doubt. Wonderful. Now what?
Forget the Supreme Court. Nobody has standing for this.
I believe the only hope for resolution lies with the several States.
If just one state declared Obummer as unqualified and refused to allow his name on the ballot unless definitive proof is presented, the entire world would erupt. Or if just one state defined “natural born” has requiring two citizens for parents, that would also light the fuse.
I would love to see some state governor sit down with his cabinet and declare, “Let’s make history.”
I think you’re exactly right. The SCOTUS won’t touch it. Only the States could declare through Legislative act that, according to State election laws, EVIDENCE must be submitted to the State Elections Board, and be available for PUBLIC REVIEW, that the Candidate is Constitutionally qualified to hold a Federal Office BEFORE their name can be put on any ballot in the State — primary or general elections.
I also believe you’re right, in that it would be the “match that lights the fuse.” But, the States MUST stand up and reassert themselves — in order to SAVE the liberties of their people and and to defend the Constitution the Founders gave us.
If I have to present MY “official Birth Certificate” from my home state when I move to a new state to get my drivers license, looks to me like Barack — and ALL other candidates — ought to have to do the same as a matter of principle and obvious common sense.
Gotta call my legislator and see if he’s going to introduce this soon!

If they said he was born there it’s different (not that them saying, makes it so) but claiming heroes, famous people, feta cheese, salads or Turkish delights for your country is an old trick. The Balkans are a prime example of it :)

Actually the birth announcements are the same only to a point. Ladysforest and Butterdezillion have shown that the Star Bulletin had a whole lot of more names on their page. The one that has been out since 08 was cropped so no one knew there were more names until Ladysforest took photos of the microfilm for the entire page.
Not like the NYT readers, where you might find a hoarder after all these years. The Honolulu papers probably had a circulation of less than 200k between both if them back then.

There is no way BHO is the child of Barack Sr and Kezia. They are both very African, very dark skinned.
Most African Americans, have some percentage of mixed blood that has been diluted over the generations. (Remember the old formula, anyone who was 1/16th black was listed as black, not white) BHO is less dark skinned than most African Americans because he has a higher percentage of white blood/genes, i.e., 1/2 so far as we know. Or, as some would have it, he is melanin-challenged.
And, he looks too similar to Stanley Dunham.
Nor, as is often suggested, can he be the son of Soetoro and Stanley Ann Dunham, as he is clearly part some part African, not part Asian.
I thought that Barry's grandparents lived at 6085 Kalanianaole Highway because they rented the place from the Lefforege's who owed it.

WND can find no listing in the Polk directories to document Dunham and Barack Obama Sr. ever living at the same address.
As WND previously reported, according to an affidavit from private investigator Jorge Baro, the neighbor who has lived at 6075 Kalanianaole Highway since before Obama was born had no recollection of the family next door having a black child born to a white mother.
Very likely, the neighbor, Beatrice Arakaki, did not recall the Obama family because the primary residents were the grandparents, the Dunhams.
At most, Ann Dunham Obama and her son lived at 6085 Kalanianaole Highway only a few days, and there is no evidence Barack Obama Sr. ever lived there, despite the address having been listed in the Honolulu newspapers as the residence of the parents.
After Dunham left for Seattle, Barack Obama Sr. likely would have lived at his 11th Avenue address.
Polk listing for Stanley and Madelyn DunhamA search of the Polk's Directory of Honolulu for 1961-1962 indicates 6085 Kalanianaole Highway was being rented by the grandparents. Madelyn L. Dunham is listed as a loan interviewer and escrow agent at the Bank of Hawaii, and Stanley A. Dunham is listed as a manager with Pratt Furniture.

The Polk directory for Seattle in 1961-1962 listed the residence for Mrs. Anna Obama, a student, at 516 13th Ave. E, apartment 2.

Hawaii's Territorial Law, Chapter 57 - "VITAL STATISTICS, I", shown beginning pg 23 of 29, (the law in effect in 1961) allowed the parents (or grandparents or other relative) of baby's born anywhere in the world to be eligible to apply for a Hawaiian birth certificate. A mailed-in form (without mention of a hospital, doctor, or midwife) signed by one of his grandparents (who forged the parent signature(s)) would have been enough to set up a birth record and a birth certificate at the Dept of Health. The Dept of Health would (presumably) then have automatically sent the names of the parents, their address as given on the mailed-in form , the gender of the child, and the date of birth to the Honolulu Advertiser and Star-Bulletin. The address given for the parents in the newspaper announcements is actually, however, the August 1961 home address of Obama’s maternal grandparents Stanley and Madelyn Dunham [6085 Kalanianaole Highway], and not the 1961 home address of Barack Obama, Sr. [625 11th Ave].).
Furthermore, as already pointed out though...the newspaper "announcements" Don't say *who* the Mr. and Mrs. Obama are. They also don't state the *name* of the boy.
I would be willing to bet serious coin that Mr. Obama was not there at conception of Obama Jr. either.

6085 Kalanianaole Highway is the home of his maternal grandparents Stan and Madelyn Dunham. It is a yellow single story home between Aina Haina and Hawaii Kai. This is the address on the birth announcement in the Honolulu Advertiser printed on August 13th. These listings were sent to the paper routinely by the Department of Health.
