Hey-Hey, Ho-Ho, Ho-Hum, Hum-Bug: Follow-Up Report from Madison

I managed to slip away from business long enough mid-day Friday in Madison to visit the capitol in the daylight, and capture the scene inside at the moment Governor Walker signed the bill eliminating collective bargaining for some classes of Wisconsin public employees. Below is another quickly-edited, four-minute highlight reel. The scene is really rather feeble, as you will see, but nonetheless conveys the infantilism of the modern left. This time I offer some voice-over commentary of my own, but couldn't resist calling in reinforcements from Monty Python on a couple of points.

That crazy hag at the 3 minute mark who said ‘I have Republican friends..”, whenever the left start with that phrase, it’s all BS. No self-respecting “republican” would ever equate collective bargaining as a ‘right’..(except for RINOS)

Good Grief. I hope that nobody’s children have to study under that screaming teacher, or the singing grannies.

Was that Levin's wife screaming over the rail with her glasses falling off her nose? Why are so many of the protesters white?

It’s just about impossible for a conservative to get a chance to say anything without being demonized by the Communists.

I feel really badly for the millions of teachers who are quietly going about doing their jobs. Not all of them are union and not all of them are raving ideologues like these...

My poor daughter is a non-union teacher and just barely hanging on to her job because the state is cutting the budget right and left. She definitely is not in the salary range that WI teachers are and has to pay for her benefits while putting in long hours in meetings and prep work.

What kind of influence are these nasty demonstrations having on state legislatures all across the country except to maybe make cutting teachers' salaries easier for them?

These idiotic "public servants" don't realize that actions have consequences.

No persons of color. They’re obviously all racists. (Borrowing the usual leftist slur)

Good video thanks. I chuckle how they hate the Koch Bros - they’ve always got to isolate and villify - it’s Alinsky 101.

“Why are so many of the protesters white?”

I didn’t see a single black in the whole video. Looks like a KKK convention without the burning cross and bed sheets.

I feel really badly for the millions of teachers who are quietly going about doing their jobs.

True enough. I went to school in rural Wisconsin, small school (graduating class - 98), but the teacher were devoted. My chemistry teacher drove out to our farm one Saturday afternoon to help me out with my chemistry homework. We lived 17 miles from town. Mnay of the teachers were the same way.

That’s because THOSE teachers understand they when they chose education the rewards they would receive in terms of the satisfaction of helping children learn were far more desirable than the paycheck and that’s why they taught.

Now it’s all about the benefits...oh and they do teach kids too, but at a far inferior success rate.
