Why the name Traveler? Well... There I was in the mid 70's, driving the John Deere tractor across the family farm in West Central Wisconsin (North of La Crosse) wondering just what was over that next hill. Upon High School graduation, I tried higher education, but I was not ready for it. So I joined the US Air Force, and 28 years later I had visited 4 of 7 continents, 13 countries and 26 states. Picked up a wife and 3 daughters in a package deal along the way. The wife was a widow at the time. Ive got a lifetimes worth of memories, good and bad, from being in the military. But I wouldnt trade it for anything.
Favorite Quotes? I have several.

Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs. There is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don't want the patient to get well."
Booker T. Washington

George Washington Carver
"Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth."
"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery"
And when you trust your television
What you get is what you got
Cause when they own the information, oh
They can bend it all they want

"Censorship is telling a man he can't have a steak just because a baby can't chew it."
"A man should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects."
