Lessons from Frank Bailey's Tell-All Sarah Palin Book [zotworthy leftist garbage]
U.S.News & World Report ^ | 2/25/11 | Susan Milligan

Posted on 02/26/2011 11:48:02 AM PST by FTJM

What have we learned recently from a couple of embarrassing disclosures recently involving elected officials?

Put down the BlackBerry. Move gently away from the keyboard. At least, for heaven’s sake, think before you hit “send.”

Former Rep. Chris Lee learned this when a woman decided to forward to a gossip website messages and a shirtless photo the married former congressman had sent. The motivations of the woman, who cowardly remained anonymous until the Washington Post outed her, were overshadowed by the impact on the congressman, who quickly resigned.

And now we have Sarah Palin, the subject of a gossipy tell-all book in the works by a former aide, Frank Bailey. The Daily Beast obtained a manuscript of the book, which relies partly on E-mails Bailey exchanged with Palin. One can’t deny that the E-mails are revealing--including the one in which Palin describes her role in politics as a “divine calling.” But revealing other private matters, such as an E-mail in which Palin allegedly alludes to some marital troubles, reflects real indiscretion from someone who supposedly had Palin’s trust. [See photos of Palin and her family.]

By the way, the marital troubles are discussed in an E-mail in which Palin tells Bailey she thought her husband was working behind her back on the Troopergate matter. “We’re not like other couples, Frank. We don’t talk,” Palin reportedly wrote to Bailey (cue laughter from longtime couples at the idea that not talking makes the Palins unique). [See a roundup of political cartoons on Palin.]

Well, it’s all the TMZ mindset. Those types of interests get no attention from me at all.

Let them root like the warthogs they are. I doubt they’ll come up with much.

SNL is such a ghost of the early days, it’s just sad to tune in to it.

I’m sure some kids today still think it’s the rage. Little do they know.

None of the emails say anything damaging to Gov. Palin. How about we look at some democrat emails and see what we find?

I have no clue where you ever gathered that I said people would sit it out if Palin is not nominated. Perhaps I mistook what you were saying.

Ironically though, I actually have heard people here say that they would not vote if Palin is not nominated. Actually quite a few.

Good grief, my husband and I don’t talk either, but we love each other deeply. We happen to be people who are engaged in our respective jobs and interests and we both are people who also like solitude. We have never talked a lot and we have been happily married for 45 years.

As Sarah herself said: Have you seen Todd?

One of the most neglected aspects of the tv series reviews was Todd Palin’s enormous quiet charisma - it blazed through the tv screen - and I was really upset that he wasn’t utilized more in the show. He’s quite a hunk and I’m not generally into “hunks.” What a team.

Sorry, I simply misunderstood what you were saying. I know people say that about Sarah now - but when the time comes, they will vote...unless it’s Romney...

I seem to have set you off again, lol!

Very true.

Looking at what is happening in Wisconsin, the Left is growing increasingly ruthless. They will not play by any rules or by any means that requires honest, moral restraint.

I now what you mean. It’s anything for a laugh with these people. They will try just about anything to take Palin or other Conservatives down. The only thing that stops them, is if it could possibly turn around and reflect negatively on them.

Other than that, nothing is out of bounds, no matter how vile.

Watch, Sarah will play this crap back against these lesser mortals yet again. She’s a master at brutally reflecting yappy-dogs yaps right back at them. You’d think they would learn to not give her free ammunition to them with but they keep on doing it.

She should NOT run for president - or any other public office - she should keep doing exactly what’s she’s doing.

I never said you supported Romney - I don’t even know you! I just know that most of us Freepers (including you) don’t like or admire him. I love the use of the term “fore-flusher” (or is it four-flusher?) - haven’t heard that term in 40 years, lol!

I think it took a lot of restraint for the Republicans to file out peacefully while they were being screamed at.

The Democrat party in Wisconsin is the closest I’ve seen a political party come to imitating a five year old kicking, screaming, and rolling on the floor, because they didn’t get their way.

What’s next, holding their breath?

Even if I agreed with them, I would be embarrassed with the Democrats tactics. They are destroying themselves.

The public is silently standing back and coming to the conclusion that the Democrat party is playing it’s last hole card, and still coming up with no pairs, no flushes, and no straights.

Except for the die-hard communists and those being gifted money by them, the Democrat party could just about be over if they don’t come to their senses.

I actually meant “fore-flusher” lol! Like in “flushing ahead”, Which I think goes back to a time when men hunted for quail and such. A fore-flusher was one who shot early or scared the birds before anyone else could get off a shot.

(Now you have me searching for the real meaning.) Be back in a few...... now I’m curious.
