Arizona Sheriff’s News Conference No Place For Personal Political Opinion
Gulf1 - Straight Talk ^ | 1/9/2010 | Dr. Alan Bates

In the midst of a local tragedy committed by a young man with some type of mental derangement, the Democrat Sheriff of Pima County in Tuscon hosted a news conference which violated the code of conduct of such informational sessions by repeatedly injecting his personal political views and opinions rather than sticking to the facts of the case. His comments are an insult to upstanding law-abiding citizens who support Arizona’s immigration law and Americans who find the secular progressive destruction of our Constitution outrageous.

Every reasonable person knows the Arizona law was the consequence of willful failure of the Federal government to enforce federal immigration laws and secure our borders. For Sheriff Dupnik---a Democrat who publicly opposed that law in a letter to the Wall Street Journal---to suggest this horrible criminal act may have resulted from an increase in “vitriolic language and hate speech heard on radio and some other media outlets” is synonymous with labeling anyone who opposes and speaks out against corrupt government as similar to the individual responsible for the crime which occurred in Tuscon.

The lame street media will certainly make a big deal about the murderer’s motives in an attempt to label “We the People” as of the same ilk because we speak out and protest against those elected officials who actively seek to destroy the foundations of the United States of America by distorting and trampling our Constitution. No such connection can be made, but the secular progressives will hammer that home nonstop for weeks to come until some other tragedy occurs to divert their attention.

There is also no doubt there will be a huge liberal media uproar about second amendment rights which in their minds (plagued by liberal mental disorder) should be revoked because of such incidents. They will ignore the fact that not one crime has been committed with a firearm by a U.S. citizen who has a legal permit to carry. The murderer in the Arizona incident like others in the past apparently did not have legal permit to carry and on top of that showed obvious derangement to commit such a heinous act of mass murder. His actions have nothing to do with second amendment rights nor can his actions be blamed on published or verbal media content which condemns the willful destruction of America by liberal extremist America haters.

The Sheriff of Pima County has violated our expectation that he keep his personal secular progressive political views out of public presentations which should stay on point regarding details of the crime committed. May God’s hand be with those who lost their loved ones in this terrible tragedy and the recovery of the injured.

He was living with Mommy.

And Obamacare is doing its best to make sure he STAYS with mommy until he's 26.
It's for the chilrun, you know.

Sheriff Dupa should be immediately suspended for unprofessionalism during an active investigation.

BTW, regarding the Sheriff’s thoughts regarding an accomplice, according to Aaron Klein (”Aaron Klein Investigative Radio” on WABC), the investigators identified the person of interest, and ruled out any connection. So it looks like Jared the Disturbed did work alone on his kill spree.

So much for Sheriff Dupa’s elegibility for induction into the Vidoc Society.

When the sheriff started rambling about “talk radio” I was kinda shocked. Senile. Then, I heard he was close friends with some of the victims, so I’ll cut him some slack. He’s just upset about these tragic events.

But the Ft Hood killer was instantly dismissed as a “one off,” while the Tea Party was immediately charged with influencing this sick individual. Best shut down all conservative commentary (read any criticisms of govt policy), just to be on the safe side. Meanwhile, leftist protests, screaming, marching & violence at global economic conferences or during labor contract negotiations may continue, and are practically equivalent to vital “free speech” expressions, really....
